၁ ယောဟန် ၅း၁၂ 
သားတော်ကိုရသောသူသည် အသက်ကိုရ၏။ ဘုရားသခင်၏သားတော်ကို မရသောသူမူကား အသက်ကိုမရ။

လူတစ်ဦးသည် အသက်ရှင်နေသည်ဆိုလျှင် အသက်ရှိသည် မှန်သော်လည်း၊ ထိုအသက်သည် ယာယီသာ ဖြစ်သည်။ သူသည် သေရမည် ဖြစ်သည်။ သို့ရာတွင် ရှင်ယောဟန်သည် ဤနေရာတွင် ရည်ညွှန်းပြောဆိုနေသော အသက်မှာ ထာဝရအသက် ဖြစ်သည်။ ကျမ်းချက် ၁၁ တွင် “ဘုရားသခင်သည် ငါတို့အား ထာဝရအသက်ကို ပေးသနားတော်မူသည်ဟူသော သက်သေခံချက် ရှိ၏။ ဤအသက်သည် သူ၏ သားတော်အထဲ၌ ရှိ၏” ဟု ဆိုထားသည်။ ယေရှုက မိန့်တော်မူသည်မှာ၊ “ငါသည် ရှင်ပြန်ထမ်းခြင်းနှင့် အသက်ဖြစ်သည်။ ငါ့ကို ယုံကြည်သူသည် သေလျှင်လည်း အသက်ရှင်လိမ့်မည်” (ယောဟန် ၁၁:၂၅) ဟူ၍ ဖြစ်သည်။ ခရစ်တော်၏ ဆုတောင်းချက်တွင် မိန့်တော်မူသည်မှာ၊ “လူအပေါင်းတို့ကို အုပ်ချုပ်ရန် အခွင့်အာဏာကို အရှင်ပေးသနားတော်မူပြီ။ အရှင်ပေးသနားတော်မူသော သူအပေါင်းတို့အား ထာဝရအသက်ကို ပေးနိုင်ရန် ဖြစ်သည်။ ထာဝရအသက်ဟူသည်မှာ တစ်ပါးတည်းသော မှန်သော ဘုရားသခင်နှင့် အရှင်စေလွှတ်တော်မူသော ယေရှုခရစ်တော်ကို သိကျွမ်းခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်” (ယောဟန် ၁၇:၂၊၃) ဟူ၍ ဖြစ်သည်။ ယေရှုသည် တပည့်တော်များကို မိန့်တော်မူသည်မှာ၊ “ငါ၏ အသားကို စားသော်ကား၊ ငါ၏ အသွေးကို သောက်သော်ကား၊ ထာဝရအသက်ကို ရရှိ၏။ နောက်ဆုံးနေ့၌ ငါ သူ့ကို ထမြောက်စေမည်” (ယောဟန် ၆:၅၄) ဟူ၍ ဖြစ်သည်။ ဤထာဝရအသက်သည် လူတစ်ဦးသည် ခရစ်တော်ကို သူ၏ သခင်နှင့် ကယ်တင်ရှင်အဖြစ် လက်ခံသည့်အခါ ဤမျက်မှောက်ဘဝ၌ စတင်သည်ကို သတိပြုပါ။ သို့ရာတွင် နောက်ဆုံး အပြည့်အဝ ရရှိမည်မှာ “နောက်ဆုံး တံပိုးမှုတ်သံ၌ ဖြစ်သည်။ တံပိုးမှုတ်သံ မြည်လိမ့်မည်။ သေသူများသည် မပျက်စီးနိုင်သော ပုံသဏ္ဌာန်နှင့် ထမြောက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါတို့သည် ပြောင်းလဲခြင်းကို ခံကြရလိမ့်မည်။ ဤပျက်စီးတတ်သော အရာသည် မပျက်စီးနိုင်ခြင်းကို ဝတ်ရမည်။ ဤသေတတ်သော အရာသည် မသေနိုင်ခြင်းကို ဝတ်ရမည်။ ဤပျက်စီးတတ်သော အရာသည် မပျက်စီးနိုင်ခြင်းကို ဝတ်ပြီးသောအခါ၊ ဤသေတတ်သော အရာသည် မသေနိုင်ခြင်းကို ဝတ်ပြီးသောအခါ၊ ရေးထားသော စကားဟူသည်ကား သေခြင်းကို အောင်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် လွှမ်းမိုးခဲ့ပြီ ဟူ၍ ပြည့်စုံလိမ့်မည်။ အို သေခြင်း၊ သင်၏ လှံချွန်သည် အဘယ်မှာ ရှိသနည်း။ အို သုဘသင်္ဂြိုဟ်၊ သင်၏ အောင်ခြင်းသည် အဘယ်မှာ ရှိသနည်း” (၁ ကောရိန္သု ၁၅:၅၂-၅၅) ဟူ၍ ဖြစ်သည်။ ခရစ်တော်ကို လက်ခံသူများအတွက် ကတိတော်မှာ၊ “ယခုဤခေတ်၌ အိမ်နှင့် ညီအစ်ကို၊ ညီအစ်မနှင့် မိခင်၊ သားသမီးနှင့် မြေယာများကို ညှဉ်းဆီးခြင်းနှင့်တကွ တစ်ရာလောက် ရရှိလိမ့်မည်။ လာမည့် ကမ္ဘာတွင်မူကား ထာဝရအသက်ကို ရရှိလိမ့်မည်” (မာကု ၁၀:၃၀) ဟူ၍ ဖြစ်သည်။

1 John 5:12

He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Answer

A person who lives has life, but it is a temporal one. He will die. But the life John is speaking of here is the eternal life. In verse 11, it says, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” Jesus said, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” ( John 11:25). In His prayer Christ said, “As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent” ( John 17:2,3). Jesus told His deisciples, “Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day” ( John 6:54). Please notice that this eternal life begins here when a person accepts Christ as their Lord and Savior, but will finally be realized “at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” (1 Corinthians 15:52-55). To those who accept Christ, the promise is, “But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life” (Mark 10:30).
