၂ သက်သာလောနိတ် ၂း၁၅။
ထိုကြောင့်၊ ညီအစ်ကိုတို့၊ ငါတို့နှုတ်ထွက်စကား အားဖြင့်ဖြစ်စေ၊ စာအားဖြင့်ဖြစ်စေ၊ သင်တို့သည် သင်ခဲ့ပြီးသော နည်းဥပဒေသများကို တည်ကြည်လျက် ကိုင်ယူ စွဲလမ်းကြလော့။

အဖြေ

ရှင်ပေါလုသည် သမ္မာကျမ်းစာကို ယုံကြည်ခြင်း၏ တစ်ခုတည်းသော စည်းမျဉ်းအဖြစ် အရေးကြီးကြောင်း ယခင်က အလေးပေး ပြောဆိုခဲ့ပြီး ဖြစ်သည်။ အခန်းကြီး ၃ တွင် “သခင်ဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပက်တရားသည် သင်တို့တွင် နှံ့ပြား၍ ဘုန်းထင်ရှားခြင်းရှိသကဲ့သို့၊ အရပ်ရပ်တို့၌ ထင်ရှားမည်အကြောင်း... ငါတို့အဘို့ ဆုတောင်းကြလော့။” (၂ သက်သာလောနိက ၃:၁) ဟုရေး၏။ ဤအပေါ်အခြေခံ၍ သူထပ်မံရေးသားသည်မှာ “ငါတို့ပညတ်သည် အတိုင်းသင်တို့သည် ယခုကျင့်ကြ၏။ နောက်၌လည်းကျင့်ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု သခင် ဘုရားကို အမှီပြု၍ ငါတို့သည် ယုံမှားခြင်းမရှိ” (အငယ် ၄) ဟူ၍ ဖြစ်သည်။ “ဓလေ့ထုံးတမ်းများ(နည်းဥပဒေသများ)” ဆိုသည်မှာ သခင်ဘုရား၏ညစာစားပွဲ ကဲ့သို့သော အရာများ သို့မဟုတ် သူတို့ထံ လက်ဆင့်ကမ်း ပေးအပ်ခဲ့သော အရာများကို ရည်ညွှန်းခြင်း ဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ဤဓလေ့များကို တမန်တော်များ၏ နမူနာအားဖြင့် (၂ သက် ၃:၇-၁၄) နှင့် သခင်ယေရှုခရစ်တော်၏ “ပညတ်တော်” နှင့် တိုက်တွန်းချက်အားဖြင့် ချမှတ်ထားခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။ (၂သက် ၃:၁၂ ကို ကြည့်ပါ။)

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

Answer

Paul had already underscored the essentiality of the Bible as the sole rule of faith. In chapter 3 he says, “Pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified” (2 Thessalonians 3:1). Based on this, he adds, “we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you” (verse 3). The “traditions,” such as the Lord’s Supper, or that which was handed to them, are set forth by the example of the apostles (2 Thessalonians 3:7-14) and by the “command” and exhortation by the Lord Jesus Christ.
