Deuteronomy 14:21

"Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in bis mother's milk"

 

တရားဟောရာကျမ်း ၁၄:၂၁

"သင်တို့သည် ကိုယ်အလိုအလျောက် သေသောအရာကို မစားရ။ သင်တို့၏တံခါးအတွင်း၌ နေသော ဧည့်သည်အား စားစေရန် ပေးရမည်။ သို့မဟုတ် နိုင်ငံခြားသားအား ရောင်းချနိုင်သည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သင်တို့သည် သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားအတွက် သန့်ရှင်းသော လူမျိုးဖြစ်သည်။ သင်သည် ဆိတ်ကလေးကို သူ၏မိခင်၏နို့ဖြင့် မချက်ရ။"

Answer

Because God had called the Jews to be a peculiar people, they were to be a clean people. God said, “Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation"(Exodus 19:5,6).Therefore, though in normal circumstances they were permitted to ear clean animals, when an animal died of itself they were not to touch it lest they become unclean(Leviticus 11:39,40).However, these ceremonial rules did not pertain to non-Jews. As a result, they could sell the dead animals to the Gentiles without the Gentile being ceremonially unclean. Through the prophet Isaiah God admonished His people to, “Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD"(Isaiah 52:11).

 

ဘုရားသခင်သည် ယုဒလူမျိုးတို့ကို ထူးခြားသောလူမျိုးအဖြစ် ရွေးကောက်တော်မူသောကြောင့်၊ သူတို့သည် သန့်ရှင်းသောလူမျိုးဖြစ်ရမည်။ ဘုရားသခင်က "သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ သင်တို့သည် ငါ၏စကားသံကို စင်စစ်နာခံ၍၊ ငါ၏ပဋိညာဉ်ကို စောင့်ထိန်းလျှင်၊ သင်တို့သည် လူမျိုးအပေါင်းတို့ထက် ငါ့အတွက် အထူးတန်ဖိုးရှိသော ဘဏ္ဍာဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ မြေကြီးတစ်ခွင်လုံးသည် ငါ၏ဥစ္စာဖြစ်၏။ သင်တို့သည် ငါ့အတွက် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မျိုးနွယ်ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ သန့်ရှင်းသော လူမျိုးဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်" (ထွက်မြောက်ရာကျမ်း ၁၉:၅၊ ၆) ဟု မိန့်တော်မူခဲ့သည်။

ထို့ကြောင့်၊ ပုံမှန်အခြေအနေများတွင် သူတို့သည် သန့်ရှင်းသောတိရစ္ဆာန်များကို စားသုံးခွင့်ရှိသော်လည်း၊ တိရစ္ဆာန်တစ်ကောင် ကိုယ်တိုင်သေဆုံးသောအခါ၊ သူတို့သည် မသန့်ရှင်းသောအရာဖြစ်သွားနိုင်သောကြောင့် ထိုအသေကောင်ကို မကိုင်ရ (ဝတ်ပြုရာကျမ်း ၁၁:၃၉၊ ၄၀)။

သို့သော်၊ ဤဓမ္မဆိုင်ရာစည်းမျဉ်းများသည် ယုဒမဟုတ်သူများနှင့် မသက်ဆိုင်ပါ။ ထို့ကြောင့်၊ သူတို့သည် ထိုအသေကောင်ကို တစ်ပါးအမျိုးသားများအား ရောင်းချနိုင်သည်။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော် တစ်ပါးအမျိုးသားများသည် ဓမ္မဆိုင်ရာမသန့်ရှင်းခြင်း မရှိသောကြောင့်ဖြစ်သည်။

ပရောဖက်ဟေရှာယမှတစ်ဆင့် ဘုရားသခင်က သူ၏လူမျိုးတို့အား "ထွက်ကြလော့၊ ထွက်ကြလော့၊ ထိုနေရာမှ ထွက်ကြလော့။ မသန့်ရှင်းသောအရာကို မထိကြနှင့်။ ထိုနေရာမှ ထွက်ကြလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ပစ္စည်းတော်များကို သယ်ဆောင်သောသူတို့သည် သန့်ရှင်းကြလော့" (ဟေရှာယ ၅၂:၁၁) ဟု သတိပေးခဲ့သည်။

 

The reason for not seething a “kid in his mother's milk" was to avoid idolatry. This was a Canaanite practice of boiling sacrificial kids in their mother's milk as a heathen ritual.

 

"ဆိတ်ကလေးကို သူ၏မိခင်၏နို့ဖြင့် မချက်ရ" ဟူသော ပညတ်တော်၏ အကြောင်းရင်းမှာ ရုပ်တုကိုးကွယ်ခြင်းကို ရှောင်ရှားရန်ဖြစ်သည်။ ဤအလေ့အထသည် ကနာနိလူမျိုးတို့၏ ရုပ်တုကိုးကွယ်မှုဆိုင်ရာ ဓလေ့ဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ယဇ်ပူဇော်သော ဆိတ်ကလေးများကို သူတို့၏မိခင်၏နို့ဖြင့် ပြုတ်ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။
