Deuteronomy 23:18
"Thou shalt not bring the bire of a whore, or the price of a
dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD
thy God."
တရားဟောရာကျမ်း ၂၃:၁၈
"သူပြည့်တန်ဆာ၏အခကို၎င်း၊
ခွေး၏တန်ဖိုးကို၎င်း၊ သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အိမ်တော်သို့ မယူဆောင်ရ။
အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဤအရာနှစ်ပါးစလုံးသည် သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားအတွက်
စက်ဆုပ်ရွံ့ရှာဖွယ်ဖြစ်သည်။"
Answer
The practice of the heathen was to
make money off their daughters whom they caused to be prostitutes. This evil
practice is still being carried out in many countries of the world. The Lord
forbade this practice among His people. God said, “Do not prostitute thy
daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the
land become full of wickedness" (Leviticus 19:29).Therefore, the Lord
would not accept an offering of money gained from such vile practices. The word
"dog" is a contemptuous term in Hebrew (1 Samuel 17:43;2 Samuel
16:9).In this case, it is used to designate the person mentioned in verse 17 as
a "Sodomite" In other words, do not bring to God money gained by the
detestable practices of either male or female prostitution.
တစ်ပါးအမျိုးသားတို့၏
ဓလေ့ထုံးစံမှာ သူတို့၏သမီးများကို ပြည့်တန်ဆာအဖြစ် လုပ်ကိုင်စေပြီး၊
ထိုမှရသောငွေကို အသုံးပြုခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။ ဤဆိုးယုတ်သော အလေ့အထကို ယနေ့တိုင်
ကမ္ဘာ့နိုင်ငံများစွာတွင် ကျင့်သုံးနေဆဲဖြစ်သည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်
မိမိ၏လူမျိုးတို့အကြား ဤအလေ့အထကို တားမြစ်တော်မူခဲ့သည်။ ဘုရားသခင်က
"သင်၏သမီးကို ပြည့်တန်ဆာအဖြစ် မပေးရ။ ထိုသို့ပြုလျှင်၊ ပြည်တန်ဆာဘဝသို့
ရောက်စေပြီး၊ ပြည်သည် ဒုစရိုက်နှင့် ပြည့်လာလိမ့်မည်" (ဝတ်ပြုရာကျမ်း ၁၉:၂၉)
ဟု မိန့်တော်မူခဲ့သည်။
