Exodus 16:29

"See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore be giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in bis place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day."

"ကြည့်ကြလော့၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင်တို့အား ဥပုသ်နေ့ကို ပေးတော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ဆဌမနေ့၌ နှစ်ရက်စာမုန့်ကို ပေးတော်မူ၏။ သင်တို့သည် တစ်ဦးစီတစ်ဦးစီ မိမိတို့နေရာ၌ နေကြလော့။ သတ္တမနေ့၌ မည်သူမျှ မိမိနေရာမှ မထွက်ကြလင့်။"

 

Answer

This command was given to the Jews in reference to the gathering of manna. In verse 25 there is further clarification: "Today is the Sabbath unto the Lord: today ye shall not find it in the field." In other words, provision had already been made for their food on the day before. (See verse 26.) Some use this text to forbid any travel on the Sabbath. However, Jesus traveled to Nazareth and "went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day" (Luke 4:16). The apostles likewise traveled on the Sabbath. "And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made" (Acts 16:13).Proper travel is appropriate on the Sabbath.

 

ဤအမိန့်တော်ကို မန္နကို စုဆောင်းခြင်းနှင့် ပတ်သက်၍ ယုဒလူများအား ပေးခဲ့သည်။ ၂၅ ခုမြောက်ကျမ်းပိုဒ်တွင် ထပ်မံရှင်းလင်းထားသည်မှာ၊ "ယနေ့သည် ထာဝရဘုရားအတွက် ဥပုသ်နေ့ဖြစ်၏။ ယနေ့ သင်တို့သည် လယ်ကွင်းထဲတွင် မန္နကို မတွေ့ရပါ" ဟူ၍ ဖြစ်သည်။ တစ်နည်းအားဖြင့်၊ ဥပုသ်နေ့အတွက် သူတို့၏အစာကို ယခင်နေ့တွင် ကြိုတင်ပြင်ဆင်ပေးထားပြီးဖြစ်သည် (၂၆ ခုမြောက်ကျမ်းပိုဒ်ကို ကြည့်ပါ)။ အချို့သူများက ဤကျမ်းပိုဒ်ကို ဥပုသ်နေ့တွင် မည်သည့်ခရီးသွားခြင်းကိုမဆို တားမြစ်ရန် အသုံးပြုကြသည်။ သို့သော်၊ ယေရှုသည် နာဇရက်သို့ ခရီးသွားခဲ့ပြီး "ဥပုသ်နေ့၌ တရားဇရပ်သို့ ဝင်တော်မူ၏" (လုကာ ၄:၁၆)။ တမန်တော်များသည်လည်း ဥပုသ်နေ့တွင် ခရီးသွားခဲ့ကြသည်။ "ဥပုသ်နေ့၌ မြို့ပြင်သို့ ထွက်၍ မြစ်ကမ်းနားသို့ သွားကြ၏။ ထိုနေရာ၌ ဆုတောင်းခြင်းကို ပြုလေ့ရှိကြ၏" (တမန်တော်ဝတ္ထု ၁၆:၁၃)။ ဥပုသ်နေ့တွင် သင့်တော်သော ခရီးသွားခြင်းသည် သင့်လျော်ပါသည်။
