Deuteronomy 5:14,15

"But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou. And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty band and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day."

"သို့သော် သတ္တမနေ့သည် သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဥပုသ်နေ့ဖြစ်၏။ ထိုနေ့၌ သင်သည် မည်သည့်အလုပ်ကိုမျှ မလုပ်ရ။ သင်၏သား၊ သင်၏သမီး၊ သင်၏ကျွန်ယောက်ျား၊ သင်၏ကျွန်မိန်းမ၊ သင်၏နွား၊ သင်၏မြည်း၊ သင်၏တိရစ္ဆာန်များ၊ သင်၏တံခါးအတွင်း၌ နေသော ဧည့်သည်တို့သည်လည်း မလုပ်ရ။ သင်၏ကျွန်ယောက်ျားနှင့် ကျွန်မိန်းမတို့သည် သင်နှင့်အတူ အနားယူရမည်။ သင်သည် အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်၌ ကျွန်ဖြစ်ခဲ့ကြောင်းကို သတိရကြလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရားသခင်သည် တန်ခိုးတော်ကြီးစွာဖြင့်၊ လက်တော်ရှည်စွာဖြင့် သင်တို့ကို ထိုပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင်တော်မူခဲ့သည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဥပုသ်နေ့ကို စောင့်ထိန်းရန် သင့်အား ပညတ်တော်မူခဲ့သည်။"

 

Answer

The explanation to this text has to do with remembering “that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt." Moses is not saying that the Sabbath is a memorial of the exodus from Egypt. For it was he who wrote, “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made" (Genesis 2:2,3). He also recorded the fourth commandment in the scriptures that said: “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it"(Exodus 20:8-11).In these verses He makes it obvious that the Sabbath is a memorial of creation and the Creator.

ဤကျမ်းပိုဒ်များတွင် ဥပုသ်နေ့သည် ဖန်ဆင်းခြင်းနှင့် ဖန်ဆင်းရှင်၏ အမှတ်တရဖြစ်ကြောင်း ရှင်းလင်းစွာ ဖော်ပြထားသည်။

 

 

In these verses Moses is addressing the need to use recollection of their lot in Egypt as a means of not treating their servants as they were treated. It is the same as saying, “In the Egyptian bondage they tried to work you to death without rest, but God brought you out and gave you rest. “Therefore," if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him...for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt" (Leviticus 19:33,34).In regard to a Hebrew being sold as a bondman, God instructed that they treat them fairly, reminding them that, “thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing today" (Deuteronomy 15:15).

 

ဤကျမ်းပိုဒ်များတွင် မောရှေသည် အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်၌ သူတို့၏ဘဝအခြေအနေကို သတိရရန် လိုအပ်ကြောင်း ပြောနေခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။ ဤသတိရခြင်းသည် သူတို့၏ကျွန်များကို သူတို့ခံစားခဲ့ရသည့်အတိုင်း မဆက်ဆံရန် သတိပေးခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။ ဤအချက်သည် "အဲဂုတ္တုကျွန်ဘဝတွင် သူတို့သည် သင်တို့ကို အနားမပေးဘဲ အလုပ်လုပ်ခိုင်းခဲ့သည်။ သို့သော် ဘုရားသခင်သည် သင်တို့ကို လွတ်မြောက်စေပြီး အနားယူစေခဲ့သည်" ဟု ဆိုခြင်းနှင့် တူသည်။

ဟေဗြဲလူတစ်ဦးကို ကျွန်အဖြစ် ရောင်းစားပါက၊ ဘုရားသခင်က သူတို့အား တရားမျှတစွာ ဆက်ဆံရန် ညွှန်ကြားခဲ့သည်။ ထို့ပြင် သူတို့အား "သင်သည် အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်၌ ကျွန်ဖြစ်ခဲ့ကြောင်းကို သတိရကြလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရားသခင်သည် သင့်ကို ရွေးနုတ်တော်မူခဲ့သည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် ငါသည် ယနေ့ ဤအရာကို သင့်အား ပညတ်တော်မူသည်" (တရားဟောရာကျမ်း ၁၅:၁၅) ဟု သတိပေးခဲ့သည်။
