2 Corinthians 5:6-8

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord (For we walk by faith, not by sight :) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

"ထိုကြောင့် ငါတို့သည် ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာ၌နေလျှင် ထာဝရဘုရားနှင့် ကွာဝေးသည်ဟု သိသောကြောင့်၊ စိတ်ချလျက် အမြဲနေကြ၏။ (အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါတို့သည် မြင်ရသောအရာကို မျှော်၍မသွားကြ။ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းအားဖြင့်သာ သွားကြ၏။) ငါတို့သည် စိတ်ချလျက် နေကြ၏။ ထို့ပြင်၊ ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာမှ ကွာခွာ၍ ထာဝရဘုရားနှင့်အတူ နေလိုကြ၏။"

 

Answer

There are only two known recorded cases of people who went directly to heaven without seeing death. They were Enoch (Hebrews 11:5) and Elijah (2 Kings 2:11).They were translated bodily to heaven. These two could not be absent from their bodies. Jesus himself was not absent from His body when He went to heaven. He told His disciples, “Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. “Forty days later the disciples saw Him corporally ascend to heaven (Acts 1:9-11).Jesus did not promise translation for His own beloved disciples. Instead, He promised them that He would return to the earth to gather them (John 14:1-3).Jesus did not present them with the hope of death and immediate presence with the Lord. Rather, they were to rest here on earth until the glad day of the resurrection when the Lord would awaken them (2 Thessalonians 4:13-17).

သေခြင်းကို မမြင်ဘဲ တိုက်ရိုက်ကောင်းကင်သို့ ရောက်သွားသည်ဟု မှတ်တမ်းတင်ထားသော လူနှစ်ဦးသာရှိသည်။ ထိုသူတို့မှာ ဧနောက် (ဟေဗြဲ ၁၁:၅) နှင့် ဧလိယ (၂ ရာဇဝင်ချုပ် ၂:၁၁) တို့ဖြစ်သည်။ ထိုသူတို့သည် ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာနှင့်တကွ ကောင်းကင်သို့ ပြောင်းသွားကြသည်။ ထိုသူတို့သည် ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာမှ ခွဲခွာခြင်းမရှိခဲ့ပေ။ ယေရှုကိုယ်တိုင်လည်း ကောင်းကင်သို့ တက်သွားသောအခါ ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာမှ ခွဲခွာခြင်းမရှိခဲ့ပေ။ သူသည် တပည့်တော်တို့အား ဤသို့မိန့်တော်မူသည်၊ “ငါ့လက်နှင့် ငါ့ခြေကို ကြည့်ကြ။ ငါကိုယ်တိုင်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိကြလော့။ ငါ့ကို ထိတွေ့ကြည့်ကြ။ ဝိညာဉ်မှာ အသားနှင့် အရိုးမရှိသည်ကို သင်တို့မြင်ရသည်အတိုင်း ငါ့မှာရှိ၏” (လုကာ ၂၄:၃၉)။ ထို့နောက် ရက်ပေါင်း လေးဆယ်အကြာတွင် တပည့်တော်တို့သည် သူ၏ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာနှင့်တကွ ကောင်းကင်သို့ တက်သွားသည်ကို မြင်ကြရသည် (တမန်တော်ဝတ္ထု ၁:၉-၁၁)။

The One who wrote 2 Corinthians also wrote 1 Corinthians. He vehemently argues the essential of a resurrection. He wrote: “And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive? But every man in his own order: Christ the first fruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming"(1Corinthians 15:17-23).

Notice that the hope of the resurrection will be realized "at His coming" Paul had

This hope himself. He wrote, “Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you"(2 Corinthians 4:14).On one occasion, Paul was fearful that his life was about to end. Regarding this incident, the book of Acts records the episode. “For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: Bur we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which ariseth the dead" (2 Corinthians 1:8,9).Notice that Paul did not say that he was going directly to heaven at death, but rather that his hope was in the resurrection. To the Philippians he wrote, That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead" (Philippians 3:10-11).

သတိပြုပါ၊ ပေါလုသည် သေခြင်းနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ ကောင်းကင်သို့ တိုက်ရိုက်သွားမည်ဟု မပြောခဲ့ပေ။ သူ၏မျှော်လင့်ချက်သည် ထမြောက်ခြင်း၌သာ ရှိခဲ့သည်။ ဖိလိပ္ပိဩဝါဒစာတွင် သူကဤသို့ရေးသားခဲ့သည်၊ “ထိုသခင်ကို သိရခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ ထမြောက်ခြင်း တန်ခိုးတော်ကို သိရခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ သူ၏ဆင်းရဲခြင်းနှင့် ဝေငှရခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ သူ၏သေခြင်းနှင့် တူအောင် ပြုပြင်ခြင်းကို ခံရခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ ငါသည် ထိုသို့သောအရာတို့ကို ရှာမှီးလို၏။ သေခြင်းမှ ထမြောက်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်နိုင်မည်ဟု မျှော်လင့်လျက်” (ဖိလိပ္ပိ ၃:၁၀-၁၁)။

Notice when Paul thought this presence with the Lord" would be. “For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?" (1 Thessalonians 2:19). Peter likewise had this hope. He wrote, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that findeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time" (1 Peter 1:3-5).

ပေါလုသည် “သခင်နှင့်အတူရှိခြင်း” ဆိုသည်ကို မည်သည့်အချိန်တွင် ဖြစ်လာမည်ဟု ယူဆခဲ့သည်ကို သတိပြုပါ။ “ငါတို့၏မျှော်လင့်ခြင်း၊ ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်း၊ ဂုဏ်ပြုသောသရဖူသည် အဘယ်နည်း။ ငါတို့သခင်ယေရှုခရစ်၏ ကြွလာတော်မူသောအခါ သင်တို့သည် သူ၏ရှေ့တော်၌ ရှိကြသည်မဟုတ်လော” (၁ သက်သလောနိတ် ၂:၁၉)။

ပေတရုသည်လည်း ဤမျှော်လင့်ချက်ကို ရှိခဲ့သည်။ သူကဤသို့ရေးသားခဲ့သည်၊ “ကျေးဇူးတော်ကြွယ်ဝသော ဘုရားသခင်သည် ချီးမွမ်းခြင်းကို ခံတော်မူစေသတည်း။ ထိုဘုရားသခင်သည် ငါတို့သခင်ယေရှုခရစ်၏ အဖဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုဘုရားသခင်သည် မိမိ၏ကရုဏာတော်အလျောက်၊ ယေရှုခရစ်ကို သေခြင်းမှ ထမြောက်စေတော်မူခြင်းအားဖြင့်၊ ငါတို့ကို ပြန်လည်မွေးဖွားစေတော်မူ၍၊ အသက်ရှင်သော မျှော်လင့်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်စေတော်မူ၏။ ထိုမျှော်လင့်ခြင်းသည် မပျက်စီးနိုင်သော၊ ညစ်ညူးခြင်းမရှိသော၊ မညှိုးနွမ်းနိုင်သော၊ ကောင်းကင်၌ သင်တို့အဘို့ သိမ်းဆည်းထားသော အမွေကို ရရှိစေခြင်းငှါဖြစ်၏။ သင်တို့သည် ယုံကြည်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် ဘုရားသခင်၏တန်ခိုးတော်နှင့် စောင့်ထိန်းခြင်းကို ခံရကြ၏။ နောက်ဆုံးသောကာလ၌ ထင်ရှားစေခြင်းငှါ အဆင်သင့်ဖြစ်သော ကယ်တင်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်စေခြင်းငှါဖြစ်၏” (၁ ပေတရု ၁:၃-၅)။
