 Revelation 14:10,11

The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mix-true into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the boy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascended up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who work-ship the beast and his image, and whosoever received the mark of his name.

"ထိုသူသည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ အမျက်တော်သင့်သော စပျစ်ရည်ကို သောက်ရလိမ့်မည်။ ထိုစပျစ်ရည်ကို စပ်ခြင်းမရှိဘဲ ဘုရားသခင်၏ အမျက်တော်ခွက်ထဲသို့ သွန်းလောင်းထားပြီး၊ ထိုသူသည် သန့်ရှင်းသော ကောင်းကင်တမန်များနှင့် သိုးသူငယ်ရှေ့မှာ မီးနှင့်ကန့်ဖြင့် ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်းကို ခံရလိမ့်မည်။ ထိုသူတို့၏ ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်း၏ မီးခိုးသည် ကာလအစဉ်မပြတ် တက်လိမ့်မည်။ သားရဲနှင့် သူ၏ရုပ်တုကို ကိုးကွယ်သောသူများနှင့် သူ၏နာမတော်၏ အမှတ်ကို လက်ခံသောသူများသည် နေ့ညဉ့်မပြတ် အနားရခြင်းမရှိကြ။"

 

Answer

These verses, while employed to suggest that people who have died are suffering eternal torment, are not dealing with the dead at all. These verses are revealing what shall happen to living people in the future that accept the mark of the beast. Notice it says, “Shal1" [future] drink of the wrath of God." The question is when will this take place? The wrath of God is the "seven last plagues" (Revelation 15:1, 7; 16:1).It is during the outpouring of these plagues that men are scorched with fire. “And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory" (Revelation 16:8, 9). Though "scorched," and they gnawed their tongues for pain" (verse 10), they continue in their rebellion.

In chapter 18 it also includes the city called "Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots, and Abominations of the Earth" (Revelation 17:5). “Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judged her" (Revelation 18:6-8).It is those responsible ("the seat of the Beast and his kingdom") for leading the world astray in apostasy against God that are the object of the burning. The city and its leaders are tormented with fire and then consumed, and it is the smoke of their torment, not their punishment, that ascends forever. (See Revelation 18:9-19).
