Romans 4:17

As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickened the dead, and calleth those things which be not as

though they were.

“ကျမ်းစာလာသည်ကား၊ ငါသည် သင်ကို လူမျိုးများစွာ၏ အဘဖြစ်စေပြီ။ ဤသို့ စာရှိသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ သူယုံကြည်သော ဘုရားသခင်၏ ရှေ့တော်၌ ဖြစ်၏။ ထိုဘုရားသခင်သည် သေသောသူတို့ကို အသက်ရှင်စေ၍၊ မရှိသောအရာတို့ကို ရှိသကဲ့သို့ ခေါ်တော်မူ၏။”

အချို့သောသူများက ဤကျမ်းချက်သည် သေဆုံးသူများကို လှုံ့ဆော်ခြင်းကို ဆိုလိုသည်ဟု ထင်မှတ်ကြသည်—သို့သော် ၎င်းသည် ထိုသို့မဟုတ်ပါ။ “အသက်ရှင်စေ၏” ဟူသော စကားလုံးသည် အသက်ပေးခြင်းကို ဆိုလိုသည်။ ယေရှုသခင်က ဤသို့မိန့်တော်မူသည်၊ “အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ခမည်းတော်သည် သေသောသူတို့ကို ထမြောက်စေ၍ အသက်ရှင်စေတော်မူသကဲ့သို့၊ သားတော်သည်လည်း မိမိအလိုရှိသူတို့ကို အသက်ရှင်စေတော်မူ၏” (ယောဟန် ၅:၂၁)။ “ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့ကို အသက်ရှင်စေတော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင်” (၁ တိမောသေ ၆:၁၃) ဖြစ်သည်၊ ဆိုလိုသည်မှာ ဖန်ဆင်းပေးခြင်း သို့မဟုတ် အသက်ပေးခြင်းပင်ဖြစ်သည်။ ဤနေရာ၌ ပေါလုသည် အဇာဟရိမ်အား ဧဇာက်၏ အံ့ဖွယ်မွေးဖွားခြင်းနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ ဘုရားသခင်က ပေးတော်မူသော ကတိကို အထူးသဖြင့် ရည်ညွှန်းပြောဆိုနေခြင်းဖြစ်သည် (အခန်းငယ် ၁၈-၂၁)။ ၎င်းတွင် သေဆုံးသူများကို ပြန်လည်အသက်ရှင်စေရန် ဘုရားသခင်၏ တန်ခိုးပါဝင်သည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားက ဤသို့မိန့်တော်မူသည်၊ “သင်၏သေသောသူတို့သည် အသက်ရှင်ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါ၏သေသောကိုယ်နှင့်အတူ သူတို့သည် ထမြောက်ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ဖုန်မှုန့်၌နေသောသူတို့၊ နိုးကြလော့၊ သီချင်းဆိုကြလော့။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သင်၏မိုဃ်းရည်သည် ဆေးဖက်ဝင်အပင်တို့၏ မိုဃ်းရည်ကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ မြေကြီးသည် သေသောသူတို့ကို ထုတ်ပေးလိမ့်မည်” (ဟေရှာယ ၂၆:၁၉)။ ထို့ပြင် ယောဟန် ၁၁:၂၅ ၌ သခင်က၊ “ငါသည် ထမြောက်ခြင်းဖြစ်၏။ အသက်လည်းဖြစ်၏။ ငါ့ကိုယုံကြည်သောသူသည် သေလွန်သော်လည်း အသက်ရှင်လိမ့်မည်” ဟု မိန့်တော်မူသည်။ ပေါလုသည် ဘာမျှမရှိရာမှ တစုံတရာကို ဖြစ်ပေါ်စေရန် ခေါ်ဆိုနိုင်သော တန်ခိုးရှင်တစ်ဆူကို ရည်ညွှန်းနေခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။ အကြီးမြတ်ဆုံးသော ဥပမာမှာ မြေကြီးနှင့် ၎င်းတွင်ပါရှိသမျှကို ဖန်ဆင်းခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။ (ကမ္ဘာဦး အခန်းကြီး ၁ နှင့် ၂ ကို ကြည့်ပါ။) ၎င်းတွင် အနာဂတ်ကို ကြိုတင်ဟောပြောနိုင်သော သူ၏တန်ခိုးလည်း ပါဝင်သည်။ ဘုရားသခင်က ဤသို့ကြေညာတော်မူသည်၊ “ငါသည် ဘုရားဖြစ်၏။ ငါကဲ့သို့သော အဘယ်သူမျှမရှိ။ အစကတည်းက အဆုံးကို၎င်း၊ ရှေးကာလမှ မပြီးစီးသေးသောအရာတို့ကို၎င်း ငါကြေညာ၏။ ငါ၏အကြံအစည်သည် တည်လိမ့်မည်။ ငါ၏အလိုတော်ရှိသမျှကို ငါပြု၍ ပြီးစီးလိမ့်မည်ဟု ငါဆို၏” (ဟေရှာယ ၄၆:၉-၁၀)။

Answer

Some people think that this text refers to stimulating dead people-that is not what it means. The term "quickens" means to make alive. Jesus said, “For as the Father ariseth up the dead, and quickened them; even so the Son quickened whom he will" (John 5:12). It is "God, who quickened all things" (1 Timothy 6:13), or makes, or gives life. Paul is specifically referring here to the promise God made to Abraham concerning the miraculous birth of Isaac (verses 18-21). This also includes the power God has to call back to life those who are dead. The Lord says, "Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead"(Isaiah 26:19). And in John 11:25 He said,” I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. “Paul is making reference to the One who has power to call into being something from nothing. The greatest example is the creation of the earth and all that it contains. (See Genesis chapter 1and 2.) It also includes His power to forecast the future. God declares,” I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure" (Isaiah 46:9, 10).
