Revelation 20:10

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

"မာရ်နတ်သည် ထိုသူတို့ကို လှည့်စားသောသူဖြစ်၍ မီးနှင့်ကန့်အိုင်ထဲသို့ ချထားခြင်းကို ခံရ၏။ ထိုအိုင်ထဲ၌ သားရဲနှင့် မိစ္ဆာပရောဖက်လည်း ရှိကြ၏။ ထိုသူတို့သည် ညဉ့်နေ့အစဉ်မပြတ် ပူပန်ခြင်းကို ခံရကြလတ္တံ့။"

Answer

The term "forever" has several meanings, depending on the subject matter and the context. It can be used in several ways, for example: “She would love him forever, “or used hyperbolically, “It took forever to get a passport." It can be used in slogans of support after the name of something or someone: “The Beatles Forever!" It can also have the sense of continually happening: “He was forever rubbing his nose, “Jonah said that he was in the belly of the whale forever. He said,” I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me forever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God" (Jonah 2:6).Yet this "forever" was only three days and three nights (Jonah 1:17). The same usage of the word is found in reference to Samuel. He was to "remain in the temple forever"(1Samuel 1:22), which meant as “long as he lives" (1 Samuel 1:28).

The revelator is describing the fact that whoever goes into the lake of fire will burn as long as the burning material is consumed forever. Notice that verse 9 says "fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them." This destruction is called the "second death" (Revelation 20:14; 21:8).Even the devil will be destroyed. “Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more" (Ezekiel 28:18, 19). And concerning those that follow him, Malachi wrote, “For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts"(Malachi 4:1, 3). Both the devil and the wicked will be turned into ashes. Yes, the wicked will burn day and night, or as long as it takes to destroy them forever.

ဗျာဒိတ်ကျမ်းရေးသူသည် မီးအိုင်ထဲသို့ ဝင်သောသူမည်သည်ကား၊ မီးလောင်စာများ ကုန်ခန်းသည်အထိ မီးလောင်လိမ့်မည်ဟု ဖော်ပြထားသည်။ း၉ တွင် “ဘုရားသခင်ထံမှ ကောင်းကင်မှ မီးကျ၍၊ သူတို့ကို မျိုချလေ၏” ဟု ဆိုထားသည်။ ဤဖျက်ဆီးခြင်းကို “ဒုတိယသေခြင်း” (ဗျာဒိတ် ၂၀:၁၄၊ ၂၁:၈) ဟု ခေါ်သည်။ မာရ်နတ်ပင်လျှင် ဖျက်ဆီးခြင်းခံရမည်။ “သင်၏များပြားသော မတရားမှုများကြောင့်၊ သင်၏ကုန်သွယ်မှု၏ မတရားမှုကြောင့်၊ သင်၏သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနများကို ညစ်ညူးစေခဲ့သည်။ ထို့ကြောင့်၊ ငါသည် သင်၏အလယ်မှ မီးကို ထုတ်ပေး၍၊ သင့်ကို မျိုချလိမ့်မည်။ သင့်ကို မြင်ရသောသူအပေါင်းတို့ရှေ့၌၊ ငါသည် သင့်ကို မြေကြီးပေါ်၌ ပြာဖြစ်စေလိမ့်မည်။ လူမျိုးတို့တွင် သင့်ကို သိသောသူအပေါင်းတို့သည် သင့်ကို အံ့ဩကြလိမ့်မည်။ သင်သည် ကြောက်ရွံ့ဖွယ်ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ သင်သည် နောက်တစ်ဖန် မရှိတော့ပါ” (ယေဇကျေလ ၂၈:၁ၸ၊ ၁ၹ)။ မာလခိကျမ်းတွင် မာရ်နတ်နောက်လိုက်သူများနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍၊ “ကြည့်ကြလော့၊ မီးဖိုကဲ့သို့ လောင်မည့်နေ့ရက်သည် ရောက်လာလိမ့်မည်။ မောက်မာသောသူအပေါင်းတို့နှင့်၊ မတရားသောအမှုကို ပြုသောသူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ကောက်ရိုးကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထိုနေ့ရက်သည် သူတို့ကို မီးရှို့လိမ့်မည်ဟု စစ်သူကြီးဖြစ်သော ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုနေ့ရက်သည် သူတို့အား အမြစ်နှင့်တကွ၊ အကိုင်းအခက်နှင့်တကွ မကျန်ရစ်စေရ။ သင်တို့သည် မကောင်းသောသူတို့ကို နင်းကြိတ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါပြုသောနေ့ရက်၌၊ သူတို့သည် သင်တို့၏ခြေဖဝါးအောက်၌ ပြာဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု စစ်သူကြီးဖြစ်သော ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏” (မာလခိ ၄:၁၊ ၃) ဟု ရေးသားခဲ့သည်။ မာရ်နတ်နှင့် မကောင်းသောသူများသည် ပြာဖြစ်သွားကြမည်။ ဟုတ်ပါသည်၊ မကောင်းသောသူများသည် နေ့ညမပြတ် မီးလောင်ကြလိမ့်မည်၊ သို့မဟုတ် သူတို့ကို ထာဝရဖျက်ဆီးရန် လိုအပ်သမျှသောအချိန်အထိ မီးလောင်ကြလိမ့်မည်။
