John 2:3-6

And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, they have no wine. Jesus saith unto beer, Woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine boor is not yet come. His mother saith unto the servants, whatsoever be saith unto you, do it. And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

 

"စပျစ်ရည်ကုန်သောအခါ၊ ယေရှု၏မိခင်က၊ 'သူတို့တွင် စပျစ်ရည်မရှိတော့ပါ' ဟု ယေရှုအား ပြောလေ၏။ ယေရှုက၊ 'အမိ၊ ကျွန်ုပ်နှင့် သင့်အား အဘယ်အရာနှင့် ဆိုင်သနည်း။ ကျွန်ုပ်၏အချိန်ကား မရောက်သေး' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုအခါ သူ၏မိခင်က ကျွန်များအား၊ 'သူပြောသမျှကို လိုက်နာကြလော့' ဟု ဆိုလေ၏။ ထိုနေရာ၌ ဂျူးလူမျိုးတို့၏ သန့်ရှင်းစင်ကြယ်ခြင်းဓလေ့အတိုင်း ကျောက်အိုးကြီးခြောက်လုံး ထားရှိထားသည်။ ထိုအိုးတစ်လုံးစီတွင် နှစ်သို့မဟုတ် သုံးဖီကင်ခန့် ဆံ့သည်။"

Answer

The Bible warns, “Wine is a mocker, strong drinks raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise" (Proverbs 20:1). In chapter 23 it says, “Who hath woe? Who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his color in the cup, when it moved itself aright. At the last it bitter like a serpent, and sinneth like an adder" (Proverbs 23:29-32). Yet there are those that insist that Christ in this miracle made fermented wine. The dilemma is in the translation of the word. The Bible translators interpret the same Hebrew word in English as either "wine" or "new wine. “Christ the Creator, and who through the Holy Spirit inspired these two statements, could not have contradicted His counsel. Jesus made "good wine, “or “new wine."

 

သမ္မာကျမ်းစာက “စပျစ်ရည်သည် လှောင်ပြောင်တတ်၏။ ပြင်းထန်သောသေရည်သည် ရူးသွပ်စေ၏။ ထိုသို့သောအရာဖြင့် လှည့်စားခံရသောသူသည် ပညာမဲ့သူဖြစ်၏” (သုတ္တံ ၂၀:၁) ဟု သတိပေးထားသည်။ အခန်း ၂၃ တွင် “ဒုက္ခရောက်သူသည် အဘယ်သူနည်း။ ဝမ်းနည်းသူသည် အဘယ်သူနည်း။ စကားများသူသည် အဘယ်သူနည်း။ အနာရှိသူသည် အဘယ်သူနည်း။ မျက်စိနီသူသည် အဘယ်သူနည်း။ စပျစ်ရည်နှင့် ကြာရှည်စွာနေသူ၊ ရောနှောသောစပျစ်ရည်ကို ရှာဖွေသူတို့ပေတည်း။ စပျစ်ရည်ကို မကြည့်နှင့်။ အိုးထဲ၌ နီမြန်းလာသောအခါ၊ ကောင်းစွာလှုပ်ရှားသောအခါ၊ နောက်ဆုံး၌ မြွေကဲ့သို့ ခါးသက်လာလိမ့်မည်။ မြွေပါကဲ့သို့ ကိုက်လိမ့်မည်” (သုတ္တံ ၂၃:၂၉-၃၂) ဟု ဆိုထားသည်။ သို့သော်၊ အချို့လူများက ခရစ်တော်သည် ဤအံ့ဖွယ်အမှုတွင် ချဉ်သောစပျစ်ရည်ကို ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သည်ဟု ခိုင်မာစွာပြောဆိုကြသည်။ ပြဿနာမှာ စကားလုံး၏ဘာသာပြန်ခြင်းတွင် ဖြစ်သည်။ သမ္မာကျမ်းစာဘာသာပြန်သူများသည် ထိုဂရိစကားလုံးကို “စပျစ်ရည်” သို့မဟုတ် “အသစ်သောစပျစ်ရည်” ဟု ဘာသာပြန်ကြသည်။ ခရစ်တော်သည် ဖန်ဆင်းရှင်ဖြစ်ပြီး၊ သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်အားဖြင့် ဤအဆိုနှစ်ခုကို စေခိုင်းခဲ့သူဖြစ်သည်။ ထို့ကြောင့်၊ သူသည် သူ၏အကြံပေးချက်ကို ဆန့်ကျင်နိုင်မည် မဟုတ်ပါ။ ယေရှုသည် “ကောင်းသောစပျစ်ရည်” သို့မဟုတ် “အသစ်သောစပျစ်ရည်” ကို ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သည်။

 

Here is how the Bible refers to this "new wine” “For how great his goodness is, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids"(Zechariah 9:17)."So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine" (Proverbs 3:10)."Thus saith the LORD,As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all" (Isaiah 65:8).From these three references it is clear that new wine is grape juice. It makes people “cheerful" and there is a “blessing in it." Christ Himself did not imbibe. His example is clear. When on the cross, if there was ever a time when drinking fermented wine would have been excusable, it would have been then. In His torturous pain "they gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink"(Matthew 27:34). The same is recorded in Mark 15:23:"And they gave him to drink wine mingled with mirth: but he received it not."

 

ဤသည်မှာ သမ္မာကျမ်းစာက “အသစ်သောစပျစ်ရည်” ကို မည်သို့ဖော်ပြထားသည်ကို ဖော်ပြချက်ဖြစ်သည်။ “အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ကျေးဇူးတော်သည် အဘယ်မျှလောက် ကြီးမြတ်သနည်း။ ကိုယ်တော်၏အဆင်းလှပမှုသည် အဘယ်မျှလောက် ကြီးမြတ်သနည်း။ ကောက်နှံသည် လူငယ်များကို ရွှင်လန်းစေလိမ့်မည်။ အသစ်သောစပျစ်ရည်သည် မိန်းကလေးများကို ရွှင်လန်းစေလိမ့်မည်” (ဇာခရိ ၉:၁၇)။ “ထို့ကြောင့်၊ သင်၏ကောက်နှံကျီများသည် ပြည့်လျှံလိမ့်မည်။ သင်၏စပျစ်ရည်ညှစ်စက်များသည် အသစ်သောစပျစ်ရည်ဖြင့် ပေါက်ထွက်လိမ့်မည်” (သုတ္တံ ၃:၁၀)။ “ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ အသစ်သောစပျစ်ရည်သည် စပျစ်သီးစည်းထဲတွင် တွေ့ရသကဲ့သို့၊ တစ်စုံတစ်ယောက်က၊ မဖျက်ဆီးနှင့်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ကောင်းချီးမင်္ဂလာရှိသည်ဟု ဆိုသကဲ့သို့၊ ငါသည် ငါ့ကျွန်များအတွက် ထိုသို့ပြုမည်။ သူတို့အားလုံးကို မဖျက်ဆီးရန် ဖြစ်သည်” (ဟေရှာယ ၆၅:၈)။ ဤကျမ်းပိုဒ်သုံးခုမှ ရှင်းလင်းစွာသိရသည်မှာ၊ အသစ်သောစပျစ်ရည်သည် စပျစ်သီးဖျော်ရည်ဖြစ်သည်။ ထိုအရာသည် လူများကို “ရွှင်လန်းစေ” ပြီး၊ “ကောင်းချီးမင်္ဂလာရှိ” သည်။ ခရစ်တော်ကိုယ်တိုင်သည် မသောက်သုံးခဲ့ပါ။ သူ၏ဥပမာမှာ ရှင်းလင်းသည်။ လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင်ပေါ်တွင် ရှိစဉ်၊ အကယ်၍ ချဉ်သောစပျစ်ရည်ကို သောက်သုံးရန် အချိန်တစ်ခုရှိခဲ့ပါက၊ ထိုအချိန်သည် ဖြစ်နိုင်ခြေရှိသည်။ သူ၏ပြင်းထန်သော နာကျင်မှုအတွင်း၌၊ “သူတို့သည် ဝစ္စာရည်နှင့် ရောစပ်သော စပျစ်ရည်ကို သူ့အား သောက်စေခြင်းငှာ ပေး၏။ သောက်ပြီးမှ၊ သောက်လိုသောစိတ် မရှိ” (မဿဲ ၂၇:၃၄)။ မာကု ၁၅:၂၃ တွင်လည်း ဤသို့ဖော်ပြထားသည်။ “သူတို့သည် သူ့အား မုရန်နှင့် ရောစပ်သော စပျစ်ရည်ကို သောက်စေခြင်းငှာ ပေး၏။ သို့သော်၊ သူသည် မသောက်ဘဲ နေလေ၏။”

 

It is the new wine that Jesus promised He would not drink again until He drank it in the kingdom. “And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom"(Matthew 26:27-29). In the kingdom there will be no fermentation, for nothing will decay. Therefore, Jesus made new wine.

 

ဤသည်မှာ ယေရှုက သူ၏ခမည်းတော်၏နိုင်ငံတော်တွင် မသောက်မီ၊ ထိုအသစ်သောစပျစ်ရည်ကို နောက်တစ်ဖန် မသောက်တော့မည်ဟု ကတိပေးခဲ့သည့် အသစ်သောစပျစ်ရည်ဖြစ်သည်။ “ထို့နောက် သူသည် ခွက်ကို ယူ၍၊ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းပြီး၊ သူတို့အား ပေးလျက်၊ 'သင်တို့အားလုံး ဤခွက်ကို သောက်ကြလော့။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဤသည်ကား လူများအတွက် အပြစ်များလွှတ်ခြင်းငှာ သွန်းလောင်းရသော ငါ၏အသွေးတော်၊ အသစ်သောပဋိညာဉ်ဖြစ်၏။ သို့သော်၊ ငါဆိုသည်ကား၊ ငါသည် ဤစပျစ်သီး၏အသီးကို ယခုမှစ၍ ငါ၏ခမည်းတော်၏နိုင်ငံတော်တွင် သင်တို့နှင့်အတူ အသစ်သောအရသာဖြင့် သောက်သောနေ့တိုင်အောင် မသောက်တော့ပါ' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏” (မဿဲ ၂၆:၂၇-၂၉)။ နိုင်ငံတော်တွင် ချဉ်သောအရာများ မရှိတော့ပါ။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ မည်သည့်အရာမျှ ပျက်စီးခြင်းမရှိတော့ပါ။ ထို့ကြောင့်၊ ယေရှုသည် အသစ်သောစပျစ်ရည်ကို ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သည်။
