John 8:51

Verily, verily, I say unto you, if a man keep my saying be shall never see death.

"အမှန်အကန်ငါဆိုသည်ကား၊ ငါ၏စကားကို စောင့်ထိန်းသောသူသည် သေခြင်းကို မမြင်ရပါ။"
(ယောဟန် ၈:၅၁)

Answer

This is obviously referring to the second death. Even the apostles experienced the first death. (See my comments on John 5:24.)"Elisha died, and they buried him"(2 Kings 13:20).This was the man filled with a double portion of the Spirit. As the scriptures say, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die” (Hebrews 9:27).John the revelator writes, “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power" (Revelation 20:6). The first death is not a punishment as many people believe. It affects the righteous as well as the wicked. It is the second death from which Christ came to deliver His people. Jesus promised, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death" (Revelation 2:11). This is the death that in contrast to eternal life Jesus is referring to when He said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).In the same contrasting language Paul wrote, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

 

ဤကျမ်းပိုဒ်သည် ဒုတိယသေခြင်းကို ရည်ညွှန်းနေခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။ တမန်တော်များပင်လျှင် ပထမသေခြင်းကို ကြုံတွေ့ခဲ့ကြသည်။ (ယောဟန် ၅:၂၄ နှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ ကျွန်ုပ်၏မှတ်ချက်ကို ကြည့်ပါ။) “ဧလိရှဲသည် သေလွန်ပြီး၊ သူတို့သည် သူ့ကို မြှုပ်နှံကြသည်” (၂ ရာဇဝင် ၁၃:၂၀)။ ဤသူသည် ဝိညာဉ်တော်၏နှစ်ဆသောအစိတ်အပိုင်းဖြင့် ပြည့်ဝခဲ့သူဖြစ်သည်။ သမ္မာကျမ်းစာက “လူသည် တစ်ကြိမ်သေရမည်ဟု သတ်မှတ်ထားပြီ” (ဟေဗြဲ ၉:၂၇) ဟု ဆိုထားသည်။ ဗျာဒိတ်ကျမ်းရေးသူ ယောဟန်က “ပထမထမြောက်ခြင်း၌ ပါဝင်သောသူသည် မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။ ထိုသူတို့အပေါ်၌ ဒုတိယသေခြင်းသည် အာဏာမရှိ” (ဗျာဒိတ် ၂၀:၆) ဟု ရေးသားခဲ့သည်။ ပထမသေခြင်းသည် လူများစွာယုံကြည်သကဲ့သို့ အပြစ်ဒဏ်မဟုတ်ပါ။ ထိုသေခြင်းသည် ဖြောင့်မတ်သူများနှင့် မကောင်းသောသူများကို ထိခိုက်သည်။ ခရစ်တော်သည် သူ၏လူများကို ဒုတိယသေခြင်းမှ ကယ်တင်ရန် ကြွလာခဲ့သည်။ ယေရှုက “နားရှိသောသူမည်သည်ကား၊ ဝိညာဉ်တော်သည် အသင်းတော်များအား ပြောသည်ကို ကြားပါစေ။ အောင်မြင်သောသူသည် ဒုတိယသေခြင်းဒဏ်ကို မခံရပါ” (ဗျာဒိတ် ၂:၁၁) ဟု ကတိပေးခဲ့သည်။ ဤသေခြင်းသည် ထာဝရအသက်နှင့် ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက်ဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ယေရှုက “ဘုရားသခင်သည် လောကကို အလွန်ချစ်တော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ မိမိ၌ တစ်ပါးတည်းသော သားတော်ကို စွန့်တော်မူပြီ။ ထိုသားတော်ကို ယုံကြည်သောသူမည်သည်ကား၊ ပျက်စီးခြင်းသို့ မရောက်ဘဲ၊ ထာဝရအသက်ကို ရစေခြင်းငှာ ဖြစ်သည်” (ယောဟန် ၃:၁၆) ဟု ဆိုသောအခါ၊ ရည်ညွှန်းနေခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။ ထိုနည်းတူ၊ ပေါလုက “အကြောင်းမူကား၊ အပြစ်၏အခကြေးငွေသည် သေခြင်းဖြစ်၏။ သို့သော်၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ဆုကျေးဇူးတော်သည် ငါတို့သခင်ယေရှုခရစ်အားဖြင့် ထာဝရအသက်ဖြစ်၏” (ရောမ ၆:၂၃) ဟု ရေးသားခဲ့သည်။
