Matthew 22:40

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

"ပညတ်တော်အားလုံးနှင့် ပရောဖက်တို့၏စကားတို့သည် ဤပညတ်နှစ်ပါးတို့၌ တည်လျက်ရှိ၏။"

Answer

Someone said to me that the only two commandments required for believers today are “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with alit thy soul, and with alit thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself" (Matthew 22:37-39).This summary of the Ten Commandments is just that, a summary! The term "hang “is the key to understanding this text. It means "suspend from" or "summed up." It is like saying, “It helps the picture to hang together." This does not do away with the picture. Instead, without it, the picture would fall apart. In other words, the summary of the Ten Commandments is love. Without love, an attempt to keep the law would be pure drudgery. That is why John wrote, “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous” (1 John

5:3).Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commandments. In His ministry when dealing with this topic, He always placed the commandments at the highest level. When asked by the rich young ruler, “What good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?"(Matthew 19:16).Jesus simply said, “If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments!" (verse 17). When asked which, He did not say, “Love the Lord. “Instead, he mentioned a few of the commandments to clarify the fact that he was thinking of the Ten Commandments. (See verses 18, 19.)

တစ်စုံတစ်ဦးက ကျွန်ုပ်အား ယနေ့ယုံကြည်သူများအတွက် လိုအပ်သော ပညတ်နှစ်ပါးမှာ "သင်၏ဘုရားသခင်ကို သင်၏စိတ်နှလုံးအကြွင်းမဲ့၊ သင်၏ဝိညာဉ်အကြွင်းမဲ့၊ သင်၏စိတ်အားလုံးဖြင့် ချစ်လော့။ ဤပညတ်သည် ပဌမနှင့် အကြီးမြတ်ဆုံးသော ပညတ်တော်ဖြစ်၏။ ဒုတိယပညတ်မှာ ဤပညတ်နှင့် တူညီ၏။ သင်၏အနီးအပါးကို သင့်ကိုယ်သင် ချစ်သကဲ့သို့ ချစ်လော့" (မာကု 22:37-39) ဟု ပြောခဲ့သည်။

ဤပညတ်နှစ်ပါးသည် တပည့်တော်ဆယ်ပါးကို အတိုချုပ်ဖော်ပြခြင်းသာ ဖြစ်သည်။ "တည်လျက်ရှိ၏" ဟူသော စကားလုံးသည် ဤကျမ်းပိုဒ်ကို နားလည်ရန် အဓိကအရေးပါသည်။ ဤစကားလုံး၏ အဓိပ္ပာယ်မှာ "အပေါ်မှ ချိတ်ဆွဲထားသည်" သို့မဟုတ် "အတိုချုပ်ဖော်ပြသည်" ဟူ၍ ဖြစ်သည်။ ဤသည်မှာ "ပုံကားချပ်ကို စုစည်းထားရန် ကူညီသည်" ဟု ပြောသကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်သည်။ ဤအတိုချုပ်ဖော်ပြချက်သည် တပည့်တော်ဆယ်ပါးကို ပယ်ဖျက်သည်မဟုတ်ပါ။ ထို့ထက်၊ ဤအတိုချုပ်ဖော်ပြချက် မရှိပါက၊ ပုံကားချပ်သည် ပြိုကွဲသွားမည် ဖြစ်သည်။ တစ်နည်းအားဖြင့်၊ တပည့်တော်ဆယ်ပါး၏ အတိုချုပ်ဖော်ပြချက်မှာ မေတ္တာပင်ဖြစ်သည်။ မေတ္တာမရှိဘဲ၊ ပညတ်တော်ကို စောင့်ထိန်းရန် ကြိုးစားခြင်းသည် လုံးဝပျင်းရိစရာဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် ယောဟန်က "ဘုရားသခင်ကို ချစ်ခြင်းမှာ၊ သူ၏ပညတ်တော်များကို စောင့်ထိန်းခြင်းပင်ဖြစ်၏။ ထိုပညတ်တော်များသည်လည်း လေးလံသောဝန်မဟုတ်ကြ" (၁ ယောဟန် 5:3) ဟု ရေးသားခဲ့သည်။

ယေရှုက "ငါ့ကိုချစ်လျှင်၊ ငါ၏ပညတ်တော်များကို စောင့်ထိန်းကြလော့" ဟု မိန့်တော်မူခဲ့သည်။ သူ၏အမှုတော်တွင် ဤအကြောင်းကို ကိုင်တွယ်ရာတွင်၊ သူသည် ပညတ်တော်များကို အမြင့်ဆုံးအဆင့်တွင် အမြဲထားတော်မူသည်။ ချမ်းသာသောလူငယ်က "ထာဝရအသက်ကို ရရှိရန် ကျွန်ုပ်သည် အဘယ်ကောင်းမြတ်သောအမှုကို ပြုရပါမည်နည်း" (မာကု 19:16) ဟု မေးသောအခါ၊ ယေရှုက "အသက်တာသို့ ဝင်ရောက်လိုလျှင်၊ ပညတ်တော်များကို စောင့်ထိန်းလော့" (း၁၇) ဟု ဖြေကြားတော်မူခဲ့သည်။ မည်သည့်ပညတ်များကို စောင့်ထိန်းရမည်နည်းဟု မေးသောအခါ၊ သူသည် "ဘုရားသခင်ကို ချစ်လော့" ဟု မပြောခဲ့ပါ။ ထို့ထက်၊ တပည့်တော်ဆယ်ပါးထဲမှ အချို့ပညတ်များကို ဖော်ပြခဲ့သည်။ (း၁၈၊ ၁၉)။

 

 

The apostle Paul does the same thing in the letter to the Romans a few years after the cross. He wrote, “Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law" (Romans 13:8-10).Yes, love is revealed through the working out of the principles of the Ten Commandments in the life. As James rightly stated, “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works" (James 2:17,18).

တမန်တော်ပေါလုသည် လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင်အမှုပြီးနောက် နှစ်အနည်းငယ်အကြာတွင် ရောမဩဝါဒစာတွင် အလားတူအကြောင်းကို ရေးသားခဲ့သည်။ သူက "တစ်စုံတစ်ယောက်အား ဘာမျှအကြွေးမထားကြနှင့်။ သို့သော် တစ်ဦးကိုတစ်ဦး ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာကိုသာ ထားကြလော့။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ တစ်ပါးသူကို ချစ်သောသူသည် ပညတ်တော်ကို ပြည့်စုံစေပြီ။ 'သူ့မယားကို မတပ်မက်နှင့်'၊ 'လူအသက်ကို မသတ်နှင့်'၊ 'သူ့ဥစ္စာကို မခိုးနှင့်'၊ 'လွှဲစောင်မှုမပြုနှင့်'၊ 'မတပ်မက်နှင့်' စသည့် ပညတ်တော်များနှင့် အခြားမည်သည့်ပညတ်တော်မဆို၊ ဤစကားတွင် အတိုချုပ်ပါဝင်ပြီးဖြစ်၏။ ထိုစကားမှာ 'သင်၏အနီးအပါးကို သင့်ကိုယ်သင် ချစ်သကဲ့သို့ ချစ်လော့' ဟူ၍ ဖြစ်၏။ ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာသည် အနီးအပါးအား ဘာမျှဒုက္ခမပေးပါ။ ထို့ကြောင့် ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာသည် ပညတ်တော်ကို ပြည့်စုံစေခြင်းပင်ဖြစ်၏" (ရောမ 13:8-10) ဟု ရေးသားခဲ့သည်။

ဟုတ်ပါသည်၊ ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာသည် တပည့်တော်ဆယ်ပါး၏ အခြေခံသဘောတရားများကို လက်တွေ့အသက်တာ၌ လုပ်ဆောင်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် ထင်ရှားပါသည်။ ယာကုပ်က မှန်ကန်စွာ ဆိုခဲ့သည်မှာ၊ "ယုံကြည်ခြင်းသည်လည်း ထိုနည်းတူပင်ဖြစ်၏။ အကျင့်မရှိလျှင်၊ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းသည် ကိုယ်တိုင်သာဖြစ်၍ သေနေပြီ။ တစ်စုံတစ်ယောက်က 'သင်၌ယုံကြည်ခြင်းရှိ၏။ ငါ၌အကျင့်ရှိ၏' ဟု ပြောလျှင်၊ 'သင်၏ယုံကြည်ခြင်းကို အကျင့်မပါဘဲ ငါ့အား ပြပါ။ ငါသည် ငါ၏အကျင့်အားဖြင့် ငါ၏ယုံကြည်ခြင်းကို သင့်အား ပြမည်' ဟု ပြောနိုင်သည်" (ယာကုပ် 2:17-18)။
