Luke 9:60

Jesus said unto bam, let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

"ယေရှုက သူ့အား၊ 'သေသူတို့သည် မိမိတို့၏သေသူတို့ကို မြှုပ်နှံပါစေ။ သင်မူကား၊ သွား၍ ဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံတော်ကို ဟောပြောလော့' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။"

Answer

Christ, by this language, is seeking to impress this would-be follower of the prominence and urgency that the preaching of the gospel must have in order to follow Him. The responsibility of burying the dead in Oriental lands, even today, is considered one of the most sacred duties devolving upon a son. If this duty was considered extremely obligatory, then the preaching of the gospel to the living was even more essential. There is nothing that can be done for the deceased but to bury them. But there is much that can be done for those yet alive. Christ is not suggesting that the physically dead can do anything, for he inspired the writer of Ecclesiastes to write, “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest"(Ecclesiastes 9:10). The point is that others can do the mundane things while the follower has far more important things to do. In other words, what sacrifices are the would-be followers willing to make in order to follow Him?

ခရစ်တော်သည် ဤစကားလုံးများဖြင့်၊ ဤလူငယ်အား ဧဝံဂေလိတရားဟောပြောခြင်း၏ အရေးကြီးမှုနှင့် အရေးတကြီးလုပ်ဆောင်ရမည့်အရာကို နားလည်စေရန် ရည်ရွယ်ခဲ့သည်။ အရှေ့တိုင်းနိုင်ငံများတွင် ယနေ့ထိတိုင်၊ သေသူများကို မြှုပ်နှံခြင်းသည် သားတစ်ဦး၏ အပြစ်ကင်းသော တာဝန်များထဲမှ တစ်ခုအဖြစ် မှတ်ယူကြသည်။ အကယ်၍ ဤတာဝန်ကို အလွန်အရေးကြီးသည်ဟု ယူဆပါက၊ အသက်ရှင်နေသောသူများအား ဧဝံဂေလိတရားဟောပြောခြင်းသည် ပို၍ပင် အရေးကြီးသည်။ သေသူများအတွက် မြှုပ်နှံခြင်းမှလွဲ၍ ဘာမျှမလုပ်နိုင်ပါ။ သို့သော် အသက်ရှင်နေသောသူများအတွက် လုပ်ဆောင်စရာများစွာရှိသည်။ ခရစ်တော်သည် သေသူများက တစ်စုံတစ်ရာလုပ်နိုင်သည်ဟု မဆိုလိုပါ။ အကြောင်းမှာ၊ သူသည် ဒေသနာကျမ်းရေးသူအား “သင်၏လက်ဖြင့် ပြုစရာရှိသမျှကို အားကြိုးမာန်တက် ပြုလော့။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သင်သွားရာသင်္ချိုင်း၌ အလုပ်မရှိ၊ အကြံအစည်မရှိ၊ အသိပညာမရှိ၊ ပညာမရှိဟု ရေးသားစေခဲ့သည်” (ဒေသနာ ၉:၁၀)။ အဓိကအချက်မှာ၊ အခြားသူများက သာမန်အလုပ်များကို လုပ်ဆောင်နိုင်ပြီး၊ ခရစ်တော်၏တပည့်တော်များသည် ပို၍အရေးကြီးသောအရာများကို လုပ်ဆောင်ရန်ဖြစ်သည်။ တစ်နည်းအားဖြင့်၊ ခရစ်တော်ကို လိုက်လျှောက်ရန် လူငယ်သည် မည်သည့်စွန့်လွှတ်မှုများကို ပြုလုပ်ရန် ဆန္ဒရှိသနည်း။

 

Christ is relegating this responsibility to the spiritually dead. The apostle Paul speaks about being spiritually dead. “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us

Up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus"(Ephesians 2:1-6).The word “quickened" means to be made alive. Those who are alive physically, but dead spiritually, are made alive by Christ to labor for him, and make whatever sacrifices to save the living lost.

ခရစ်တော်သည် ဤတာဝန်ကို ဝိညာဉ်ရေးရာသေနေသူများထံသို့ လွှဲအပ်ခဲ့သည်။ တမန်တော်ပေါလုသည် ဝိညာဉ်ရေးရာသေနေခြင်းအကြောင်း ပြောဆိုခဲ့သည်။ “ထိုဘုရားသခင်သည် သင်တို့ကို အသက်ရှင်စေတော်မူ၏။ သင်တို့သည် အပြစ်နှင့် ပြည့်နှက်လျက် သေနေစဉ်အခါက၊ ဤလောကီအရာများ၏အလိုကို လိုက်၍၊ လေကောင်းလေသန့်၏အုပ်စိုးသူ၊ ယခုအခါ မနာခံသောသားတို့၌ ပြုပြင်တတ်သော ဝိညာဉ်ကို လိုက်၍ ကျင်လည်ကြ၏။ ထိုသို့သောသူတို့တွင် ငါတို့ရှိသမျှသည်လည်း၊ ရှေ့ကာလ၌ ငါတို့၏ဇာတိပကတိ၏အလိုသို့လိုက်၍၊ ဇာတိပကတိ၏အလိုနှင့် စိတ်တို့၏အလိုကို ပြည့်စုံစေ၍ ကျင်လည်ကြ၏။ ငါတို့သည် အမျက်တော်သားများဖြစ်ကြ၏။ သို့သော်၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ကရုဏာတော်ကြွယ်ဝသောကြောင့်၊ ငါတို့ကို ချစ်တော်မူသော ကြီးမြတ်သောမေတ္တာတော်ကြောင့်၊ ငါတို့သည် အပြစ်နှင့်ပြည့်နှက်၍ သေနေစဉ်အခါက၊ ခရစ်တော်နှင့်တကွ အသက်ရှင်စေတော်မူ၏။ (ကျေးဇူးတော်အားဖြင့် သင်တို့သည် ကယ်တင်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြ၏။) ထို့အပြင်၊ ငါတို့ကို ထမြောက်စေတော်မူ၍၊ ခရစ်တော်ယေရှု၌ ကောင်းကင်နေရာများတွင် ထိုင်စေတော်မူ၏” (ဧဖက် ၂:၁-၆)။ “အသက်ရှင်စေခြင်း” ဆိုသည့်စကားလုံးသည် အသက်ရှင်လာစေခြင်းကို ဆိုလိုသည်။ ရုပ်ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာအားဖြင့် အသက်ရှင်သော်လည်း၊ ဝိညာဉ်ရေးရာအားဖြင့် သေနေသူများသည် ခရစ်တော်အားဖြင့် အသက်ရှင်လာပြီး၊ သူ့အတွက် အလုပ်လုပ်ရန် နှင့် အသက်ရှင်နေသော်လည်း ပျောက်ဆုံးနေသူများကို ကယ်တင်ရန် မည်သည့်စွန့်လွှတ်မှုမျိုးကိုမဆို ပြုလုပ်ရန် ဖြစ်သည်။
