အခန်း ၄ (Chapter 4)

17. Men of Destiny Watched With Vigilance.—The Lord God omnipotent reigneth. All kings, all nations, are His, under His rule and government. His resources are infinite. The wise man declares, “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whither-soever he will.”

၁၇။ ကံကြမ္မာကို သတ်မှတ်သူများကို နိုးကြားစွာ စောင့်ကြည့်တော်မူခြင်း။—အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင် ထာဝရအရှင်ဘုရားသခင်သည် စိုးစံတော်မူ၏။ ရှင်ဘုရင်အားလုံး၊ လူမျိုးအားလုံးတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်၏ အုပ်စိုးမှုနှင့် အစိုးရမှုအောက်တွင် ကိုယ်တော်၏ ပိုင်ဆိုင်မှုများ ဖြစ်ကြသည်။ ကိုယ်တော်၏ အရင်းအမြစ်များသည် အကန့်အသတ်မရှိ စည်းစိမ်ကြွယ်ဝလှသည်။ ပညာရှိသောသူက “ရှင်ဘုရင်၏နှလုံးသည် စီးသောရေချောင်းကဲ့သို့ ထာဝရဘုရား၏လက်တော်၌ရှိ၍၊ အလိုတော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း သွေးဆောင်တော်မူ၏” ဟု ကြေညာထားသည်။

Those upon whose actions hang the destinies of nations, are watched over with a vigilance that knows no relaxation by Him who “giveth salvation unto kings,” to whom belong “the shields of the earth” (RH March 28, 1907).

နိုင်ငံများ၏ ကံကြမ္မာကို ဆုံးဖြတ်ပေးမည့် လုပ်ရပ်များကို လုပ်ဆောင်နေကြသော ထိုသူတို့သည် “ရှင်ဘုရင်တို့အား ကယ်တင်ခြင်းကို ပေးသနားတော်မူသော အရှင်”၊ “မြေကြီး၏ ဒိုင်းလွှားတို့” ပိုင်ဆိုင်တော်မူသော အရှင်၏ မည်သည့်အခါမျှ လျှော့ချခြင်းမရှိသော နိုးကြားမှုဖြင့် စောင့်ကြည့်ခြင်းကို ခံနေကြရသည် (သုံးသပ်ချက်နှင့် ဟောပြောချက်၊ မတ် ၂၈၊ ၁၉၀၇)။

33. Some Today Like Nebuchadnezzar.—We are living in the last days of this earth’s history, and we may be surprised at nothing in the line of apostasies and denials of the truth. Unbelief has now come to be a fine art, which men work at to the destruction of their souls. There is constant danger of there being shams in pulpit preachers, whose lives contradict the words they speak; but the voice of warning and of admonition will be heard as long as time shall last; and those who are guilty of transactions that should never be entered into, when reproved or counseled through the Lord’s appointed agencies, will resist the message and refuse to be corrected. They will go on as did Pharaoh, and Nebuchadnezzar, until the Lord takes away their reason, and their hearts become unimpressible. The Lord’s Word will come to them; but if they choose not to hear it, the Lord will make them responsible for their own ruin (NL No. 31, p. 1).

၃၃။ ယနေ့ခေတ်တွင် နေဗုခဒ်နေဇาကဲ့သို့သော အချို့သူများ။—ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ဤကမ္ဘာ့သမိုင်း၏ နောက်ဆုံးသော ကာလ၌ အသက်ရှင်နေကြရသဖြင့်၊ ဘာသာတရားစွန့်ပယ်ခြင်းနှင့် သမ္မာတရားကို ငြင်းပယ်ခြင်းဆိုင်ရာ ကိစ္စရပ်များတွင် မည်သည့်အရာကိုမျှ အံ့သြစရာမရှိတော့ပါ။ မယုံကြည်ခြင်းသည် ယခုအခါတွင် လူသားတို့ မိမိတို့၏ စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်များကို ဖျက်ဆီးရန်အတွက် အသုံးချနေကြသော အနုပညာတစ်ရပ်ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်လာခဲ့ပြီ။ တရားဟောစင်မြင့်ပေါ်ရှိ တရားဟောဆရာများထဲတွင် မိမိတို့ပြောသော စကားများနှင့် မိမိတို့၏ အသက်တာ သွေဖည်ဆန့်ကျင်နေသော အတုအယောင်များ ရှိနေနိုင်သည့် အန္တရာယ်သည် အစဉ်အမြဲ ရှိနေသည်၊ သို့သော် သတိပေးခြင်းနှင့် ဆုံးမခြင်းအသံကို အချိန်ကာလ တည်ရှိနေသရွေ့ ကြားရလိမ့်မည်၊ ထို့ပြင် မည်သည့်အခါမျှ မလုပ်ဆောင်သင့်သော ကိစ္စရပ်များတွင် ပြစ်မှုကျူးလွန်ထားသူများသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ခန့်အပ်ထားသော ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များမှတစ်ဆင့် ပြစ်တင်ဆုံးမခြင်း သို့မဟုတ် အကြံပေးခြင်းကို ခံရသည့်အခါ၊ ထိုသတင်းစကားကို တွန်းလှန်ကြလိမ့်မည်ဖြစ်ပြီး ပြုပြင်ပြောင်းလဲရန် ငြင်းပယ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့သည် ဖာရောဘုရင်နှင့် နေဗုခဒ်နေဇာမင်းကြီးတို့ လုပ်ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြသကဲ့သို့ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သူတို့၏ အကျိုးအကြောင်းဆင်ခြင်နိုင်စွမ်းကို ရုတ်သိမ်းတော်မူပြီး သူတို့၏ နှလုံးသားများ တုံ့ပြန်မှုမရှိ တောင့်တင်းခိုင်မာသွားသည့်တိုင်အောင် ဆက်လက်လုပ်ဆောင်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် သူတို့ထံသို့ ရောက်လာလိမ့်မည်၊ သို့သော် သူတို့က ၎င်းကို မနာခံရန် ရွေးချယ်ပါက၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သူတို့ကိုယ်တိုင် ပျက်စီးခြင်းအတွက် သူတို့၌သာ တာဝန်ရှိစေတော်မူလိမ့်မည် (သတင်းလွှာ အမှတ် ၃၁၊ စာမျက်နှာ ၁)။

37. Nebuchadnezzar Thoroughly Converted.—In Daniel’s life, the desire to glorify God was the most powerful of all motives. He realized that when standing in the presence of men of influence, a failure to acknowledge God as the source of his wisdom would have made him an unfaithful steward. And his constant recognition of the God of heaven before kings, princes, and statesmen, detracted not one iota from his influence. King Nebuchadnezzar, before whom Daniel so often honored the name of God, was finally thoroughly converted, and learned to “praise and extol and honour the King of heaven” (RH Jan 11, 1906).

၃၇။ နေဗုခဒ်နေဇာမင်းကြီး လုံးဝဥဿုံ ပြောင်းလဲခြင်း။—ဒံယေလ၏ အသက်တာတွင် ဘုရားသခင်၏ ဘုန်းတော်ကို ထင်ရှားစေလိုသော ဆန္ဒသည် တွန်းအားအားလုံးထဲတွင် အစွမ်းထက်ဆုံးသော အရာဖြစ်သည်။ ဩဇာအာဏာရှိသော လူတို့၏ ရှေ့မှောက်၌ ရပ်တည်ရသောအခါ၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် မိမိ၏ ဉာဏ်ပညာ၏ မြစ်ဖျားခံရာဖြစ်ကြောင်း ဝန်ခံရန် ပျက်ကွက်ခဲ့ပါက မိမိကိုယ်ကို သစ္စာမရှိသော ဘဏ္ဍာစိုးတစ်ဦး ဖြစ်စေလိမ့်မည်ကို သူသဘောပေါက်ခဲ့သည်။ ထို့ပြင် ရှင်ဘုရင်များ၊ မင်းညီမင်းသားများနှင့် နိုင်ငံရေးသမားများ၏ ရှေ့မှောက်တွင် ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၏ ဘုရားသခင်ကို သူအစဉ်အမြဲ အသိအမှတ်ပြုခြင်းသည် သူ၏ ဩဇာသက်ရောက်မှုကို တစ်စိပါးမျှ ယုတ်လျော့မသွားစေခဲ့ပါ။ ဒံယေလက ဘုရားသခင်၏ နာမတော်ကို ၎င်း၏ ရှေ့မှောက်၌ မကြာခဏ ချီးမြှောက်ခဲ့သော နေဗုခဒ်နေဇာမင်းကြီးသည် နောက်ဆုံးတွင် လုံးဝဥဿုံ ပြောင်းလဲသွားခဲ့ပြီး “ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၏ အရှင်မင်းကြီးကို ချီးမွမ်း၍ တိုးပွားစေလျက် ဂုဏ်တော်ကို သီချင်းဆိုရမည်” ကို သင်ယူတတ်မြောက်ခဲ့သည် (သုံးသပ်ချက်နှင့် ဟောပြောချက်၊ ဇန်နဝါရီ ၁၁၊ ၁၉၀၆)။

A Warm and Eloquent Testimony.—The king upon the Babylonian throne became a witness for God, giving his testimony, warm and eloquent, from a grateful heart that was partaking of the mercy and grace, the righteousness and peace, of the divine nature (YI Dec. 13, 1904).

နွေးထွေးပြီး အချက်ကျကျ သက်သေခံချက်။—ဗာဗုလုန်ပလ္လင်ပေါ်ရှိ မင်းကြီးသည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ သန့်ရှင်းသော သဘာဝတော်၏ ကရုဏာနှင့် ကျေးဇူးတော်၊ ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းနှင့် ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်းတို့ကို ခံစားရရှိနေသော ကျေးဇူးသိတတ်သည့် နှလုံးသားမှ ထွက်ပေါ်လာသည့် နွေးထွေးပြီး အချက်ကျကျ ကောင်းမွန်လှသော သက်သေခံချက်ကို ပေးခြင်းအားဖြင့် ဘုရားသခင်အတွက် သက်သေခံတစ်ဦး ဖြစ်လာခဲ့သည် (လူငယ်လမ်းညွှန်၊ ဒီဇင်ဘာ ၁၃၊ ၁၉၀၄)။
