Returning from Gergesa to the western shore, Jesus found a
multitude gathered to receive Him, and they greeted Him with joy.
He remained by the seaside for a time, teaching and healing, and
then repaired to the house of Levi-Matthew to meet the publicans at
the feast. Here Jairus, the ruler of the synagogue, found Him.

ဤယုဒလူမျိုးတို့၏ အကြီးအကဲသည် ကြီးစွာသော ပူဆွေးသောကရောက်လျက် ယေရှုထံသို့ လာပြီးလျှင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ခြေရင်း၌ ပြပ်ဝပ်၍ "ကျွန်ုပ်၏ သမီးငယ်သည် သေလုနီးပြီဖြစ်ပါ၏။ သူသည် ကျန်းမာ၍ အသက်ရှင်စေခြင်းငှာ ကြွလာ၍ သူ၏အပေါ်၌ လက်တော်ကို တင်ပေးတော်မူပါ" ဟု အသနားခံလေသည်။

This elder of the Jews came to Jesus in great distress, and cast
himself at His feet, exclaiming, “My little daughter lieth at the point
of death: I pray Thee, come and lay Thy hands on her, that she may
be healed; and she shall live.”

ယေရှုသည် ထိုအရာရှိနှင့်အတူ သူ၏အိမ်သို့ ချက်ချင်းထွက်ခွာသွားတော်မူ၏။ တပည့်တော်တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်၏ ကရုဏာအမှုများစွာကို မြင်တွေ့ခဲ့ကြဖူးသော်လည်း၊ မာနကြီးသော ရဗ္ဗိပညာရှိ၏ အသနားခံချက်ကို လိုက်လျောတော်မူခြင်းအပေါ် အံ့သြခဲ့ကြသည်။ သို့သော် သူတို့သည် အရှင်သခင်နှင့်အတူ လိုက်ပါသွားကြပြီး လူအုပ်ကြီးကလည်း စိတ်အားထက်သန်စွာဖြင့် မျှော်လင့်တကြီး လိုက်ပါလာကြသည်။

Jesus set out at once with the ruler for his home. Though the
disciples had seen so many of His works of mercy, they were surprised at His compliance with the entreaty of the haughty rabbi; yet
they accompanied their Master, and the people followed, eager and
expectant.

အရာရှိ၏အိမ်သည် မနီးမဝေးတွင် ရှိသော်လည်း လူအုပ်ကြီးသည် ဘေးပတ်ပတ်လည်မှ တိုးဝှေ့နေသဖြင့် ယေရှုနှင့် အတူပါလာသူတို့သည် ဖြည်းညှင်းစွာသာ ရှေ့တိုးနိုင်ကြသည်။ စိုးရိမ်နေသော ဖခင်ဖြစ်သူသည် ကြန့်ကြာနေမှုကို စိတ်မရှည်နိုင်ဖြစ်နေသော်လည်း ယေရှုသည် လူစုလူဝေးကို သနားတော်မူသဖြင့် အခါအားလျော်စွာ ရပ်တန့်၍ ဝေဒနာခံစားနေရသူများကို သက်သာစေခြင်း သို့မဟုတ် ပူဆွေးနေသော နှလုံးသားများကို နှစ်သိမ့်ပေးခြင်းတို့ကို ပြုတော်မူ၏။

The ruler’s house was not far distant, but Jesus and His companions advanced slowly, for the crowd pressed Him on every side. The
anxious father was impatient of delay; but Jesus, pitying the people,
stopped now and then to relieve some suffering one, or to comfort a
troubled heart.

လမ်းခရီး၌ ရှိနေစဉ်တွင် စေတမန်တစ်ဦးသည် လူအုပ်ထဲမှ တိုးထွက်လာပြီး ယာအိရု၏ သမီးငယ် သေဆုံးသွားပြီဖြစ်ကြောင်းနှင့် အရှင်သခင်ကို ဆက်၍ အနှောင့်အယှက်မပေးရန် သတင်းစကားပါးလေသည်။ ထိုစကားကို ယေရှု ကြားတော်မူလျှင် "မကြောက်ပါနှင့်၊ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းတစ်ခုတည်းသာ ထားလော့၊ သို့ပြုလျှင် သူသည် ကျန်းမာလိမ့်မည်" ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

While they were still on the way, a messenger pressed through
the crowd, bearing to Jairus the news that his daughter was dead,
and it was useless to trouble the Master further. The word caught
[343] the ear of Jesus. “Fear not,” He said; “believe only, and she shall be
made whole.”

Jairus pressed closer to the Saviour, and together they hurried to
the ruler’s home. Already the hired mourners and flute players were
there, flling the air with their clamor. The presence of the crowd,
and the tumult jarred upon the spirit of Jesus. He tried to silence
them, saying, “Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not

dead, but sleepeth.” They were indignant at the words of the Stranger.
They had seen the child in the embrace of death, and they laughed
Him to scorn. Requiring them all to leave the house, Jesus took with
Him the father and mother of the maiden, and the three disciples,
Peter, James, and John, and together they entered the chamber of
death.

ယေရှုသည် အိပ်ရာအနီးသို့ ချဉ်းကပ်၍ ကလေးမ၏လက်ကို ကိုင်ကာ သူမ၏ အိမ်သုံးစကားဖြင့် "သူငယ်မ၊ ထလော့ဟု ငါဆိုသည်" ဟု ညင်သာစွာ မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

Jesus approached the bedside, and, taking the child’s hand in His
own, He pronounced softly, in the familiar language of her home,
the words, “Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.”

ချက်ချင်းပင် သတိမေ့မြောနေသော ခန္ဓာကိုယ်ထဲသို့ တုန်ခါမှုတစ်ခု ဖြတ်သန်းသွားသည်။ အသက်သွေးကြောများ ပြန်လည်ခုန်လှုပ်လာသည်။ နှုတ်ခမ်းများ ပြုံးယောင်သန်းလျက် ပွင့်ဟလာသည်။ အိပ်ပျော်ရာမှ နိုးလာသကဲ့သို့ မျက်လုံးများ ပြူးကျယ်လာပြီး မိန်းကလေးသည် သူမ၏ ဘေးရှိ လူစုကို အံ့သြစွာ ကြည့်ရှုလေသည်။ သူမသည် ထရပ်လိုက်ရာ မိဘနှစ်ပါးက သူမကို ရင်ခွင်ထဲသို့ ပွေ့ပိုက်၍ ဝမ်းမြောက်လွန်းသဖြင့် ငိုကြွေးကြလေသည်။

Instantly a tremor passed through the unconscious form. The
pulses of life beat again. The lips unclosed with a smile. The eyes
opened widely as if from sleep, and the maiden gazed with wonder
on the group beside her. She arose, and her parents clasped her in
their arms, and wept for joy.

အရာရှိ၏အိမ်သို့ သွားရာလမ်းတွင် ယေရှုသည် လူအုပ်ထဲ၌ (၁၂) နှစ်တိုင်တိုင် ဝေဒနာခံစားခဲ့ရပြီး ဘဝကို ဝန်ထုပ်ဝန်ပိုးဖြစ်စေသည့် ရောဂါဝေဒနာရှင် အမျိုးသမီးတစ်ဦးနှင့် တွေ့ဆုံခဲ့သည်။ သူမသည် မိမိ၏ ဥစ္စာပစ္စည်းအားလုံးကို ဆေးဝါးနှင့် ဆရာဝန်များအတွက် အကုန်အစင် သုံးစွဲခဲ့သော်လည်း ကုသ၍မရနိုင်ကြောင်းသာ အပြောခံခဲ့ရသည်။ သို့သော် ခရစ်တော်ပြုတော်မူသော ကုသခြင်းများအကြောင်း ကြားသိရသောအခါ သူမ၏ မျှော်လင့်ချက်များ ပြန်လည်ရှင်သန်လာသည်။ ကိုယ်တော်ထံသို့ သွားနိုင်ရုံမျှဖြင့် ကျန်းမာလိမ့်မည်ဟု သူမ အခိုင်အမာ ယုံကြည်ခဲ့သည်။

On the way to the ruler’s house, Jesus had met, in the crowd,
a poor woman who for twelve years had suffered from a disease
that made her life a burden. She had spent all her means upon
physicians and remedies, only to be pronounced incurable. But her
hopes revived when she heard of the cures that Christ performed.
She felt assured that if she could only go to Him she would be healed.

သူမသည် အားနည်းခြင်းနှင့် ဝေဒနာများကြားမှ ကိုယ်တော် သွန်သင်နေသည့် ကမ်းခြေသို့ လာရောက်ကာ လူအုပ်ထဲမှ တိုးဝင်ရန် ကြိုးစားသော်လည်း အချည်းနှီးဖြစ်ခဲ့ရသည်။ လေဝိ-မဿဲ၏ အိမ်မှ ကိုယ်တော်ထွက်ခွာလာချိန်တွင် ထပ်မံနောက်ယောင်ခံ လိုက်ခဲ့သော်လည်း ကိုယ်တော်ထံသို့ မရောက်နိုင်သေးပေ။ သူမသည် စိတ်ပျက်အားငယ်တော့မည့်ဆဲဆဲတွင် ကိုယ်တော်သည် လူအုပ်ကြားမှ လမ်းဖောက်ကြွလာရာ သူမနှင့် နီးကပ်သော နေရာသို့ ရောက်ရှိလာသည်။

In weakness and suffering she came to the seaside where He was
teaching, and tried to press through the crowd, but in vain. Again
she followed Him from the house of Levi-Matthew, but was still
unable to reach Him. She had begun to despair, when, in making
His way through the multitude, He came near where she was.

ရွှေရောင်အခွင့်အရေး ရောက်ရှိလာပြီဖြစ်သည်။ သူမသည် ကြီးမြတ်သော ဆရာဝန်ကြီး၏ ရှေ့မှောက်သို့ ရောက်ရှိနေပြီ! သို့သော် ရုန်းရင်းဆန်ခတ်ဖြစ်နေမှုကြားတွင် ကိုယ်တော်ကို စကားမပြောနိုင်သလို၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ ပုံရိပ်ကို ခဏမျှသာ မြင်တွေ့ခွင့်ရသည်။ သက်သာရာရနိုင်မည့် တစ်ခုတည်းသော အခွင့်အရေးကို ဆုံးရှုံးရမည် စိုးရိမ်သဖြင့် သူမသည် ရှေ့သို့ တိုးဝင်ကာ "ကိုယ်တော်၏ အဝတ်တော်ကို တို့ရုံမျှဖြင့် ငါသည် ကျန်းမာလိမ့်မည်" ဟု မိမိကိုယ်ကိုယ် ပြောဆိုလေသည်။ ကိုယ်တော် ဖြတ်သွားစဉ် သူမသည် ရှေ့သို့ လက်လှမ်းကာ ကိုယ်တော်၏ အဝတ်တော်အနားကို မသိမသာ တို့မိရုံမျှ တို့နိုင်ခဲ့သည်။ သို့သော် ထိုခဏ၌ပင် မိမိကျန်းမာသွားပြီဖြစ်ကြောင်း သူမ သိလိုက်ရသည်။ ထိုအထိအတွေ့လေးတစ်ခုထဲတွင် သူမဘဝ၏ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းများ စုစည်းနေပြီး ချက်ချင်းပင် နာကျင်မှုနှင့် အားနည်းမှုများ ပျောက်ကွယ်ကာ ပြည့်စုံသော ကျန်းမာခြင်း ခွန်အားများဖြင့် အစားထိုးဝင်ရောက်လာသည်။

The golden opportunity had come. She was in the presence of
the Great Physician! But amid the confusion she could not speak to
Him, nor catch more than a passing glimpse of His fgure. Fearful
of losing her one chance of relief, she pressed forward, saying to
herself, “If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole.” As He
was passing, she reached forward, and succeeded in barely touching
the border of His garment. But in that moment she knew that she was
healed. In that one touch was concentrated the faith of her life, and
instantly her pain and feebleness gave place to the vigor of perfect
health.

With a grateful heart she then tried to withdraw from the crowd; [344]
but suddenly Jesus stopped, and the people halted with Him. He
turned, and looking about asked in a voice distinctly heard above

the confusion of the multitude, “Who touched Me?” The people
answered this query with a look of amazement. Jostled upon all
sides, and rudely pressed hither and thither, as He was, it seemed a
strange inquiry.

စကားပြောရန် အမြဲအသင့်ရှိသော ပေတရုက "အရှင်ဘုရား၊ လူအုပ်ကြီးသည် ကိုယ်တော်ကို ဝိုင်းရံတိုးဝှေ့နေကြပါလျက်၊ ငါ့ကို မည်သူတို့သနည်းဟု အဘယ်ကြောင့် မေးတော်မူသနည်း" ဟု လျှောက်လေသည်။ ယေရှုက "တစ်စုံတစ်ယောက်သည် ငါ့ကို တို့ပြီ။ ငါ့ကိုယ်ထဲမှ တန်ခိုးထွက်သွားသည်ကို ငါသိ၏" ဟု ပြန်လည်မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ကယ်တင်ရှင်သည် လူအုပ်ကြီး၏ မတော်တဆ ထိမိခြင်းနှင့် ယုံကြည်ခြင်းဖြင့် တို့ထိခြင်းကို ခွဲခြားသိမြင်နိုင်စွမ်း ရှိသည်။ ထိုသို့သော ယုံကြည်ကိုးစားမှုကို မှတ်ချက်မပေးဘဲ မကျော်လွန်သင့်ပေ။ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ထိုနှိမ့်ချသော အမျိုးသမီးအား သူမအတွက် ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်း စမ်းရေတွင်းသဖွယ် ဖြစ်စေမည့် နှစ်သိမ့်စကားများ၊ ကမ္ဘာကုန်သည်အထိ နောက်လိုက်တော်များအတွက် ကောင်းကြီးဖြစ်စေမည့် စကားများကို ပြောလိုတော်မူ၏။

Peter, ever ready to speak, said, “Master, the multitude throng
Thee and press Thee, and sayest Thou, Who touched Me?” Jesus
answered, “Somebody hath touched Me: for I perceive that virtue is
gone out of Me.” The Saviour could distinguish the touch of faith
from the casual contact of the careless throng. Such trust should not
be passed without comment. He would speak to the humble woman
words of comfort that would be to her a wellspring of joy,—words
that would be a blessing to His followers to the close of time.

အမျိုးသမီးရှိရာသို့ ကြည့်ရှုလျက် မိမိအား မည်သူတို့ခဲ့သည်ကို သိလိုကြောင်း ယေရှု အခိုင်အမာ မိန့်တော်မူသည်။ ဖုံးကွယ်ထား၍ မရတော့သည်ကို သိသောအခါ သူမသည် တုန်တုန်ရီရီဖြင့် ရှေ့သို့ထွက်လာပြီး ကိုယ်တော်၏ခြေရင်း၌ ပြပ်ဝပ်လေသည်။ ကျေးဇူးတင်သော မျက်ရည်များဖြင့် မိမိခံစားခဲ့ရသော ဝေဒနာအကြောင်းနှင့် မည်သို့သက်သာရာရခဲ့ပုံတို့ကို ပြောပြလေသည်။ ယေရှုက ညင်သာစွာဖြင့် "သမီး၊ စိတ်အေးအေးထားလော့။ သင်၏ယုံကြည်ခြင်းသည် သင့်ကို ကျန်းမာစေပြီ၊ ငြိမ်သက်စွာ သွားလော့" ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်၏ အဝတ်တော်ကို တို့ရုံမျှဖြင့် ကုသနိုင်သော တန်ခိုးရှိသည်ဟူသော အယူသီးမှုကို ကိုယ်တော် အခွင့်မပေးခဲ့ပေ။ ပြင်ပမှ တို့ထိမိခြင်းကြောင့် မဟုတ်ဘဲ၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ နတ်ဘုရားတန်ခိုးကို ဆုပ်ကိုင်ထားသော ယုံကြည်ခြင်းကြောင့်သာ ကုသခြင်း ဖြစ်မြောက်ခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။

Looking toward the woman, Jesus insisted on knowing who
had touched Him. Finding concealment vain, she came forward
[345] tremblingly, and cast herself at His feet. With grateful tears she

told the story of her suffering, and how she had found relief. Jesus
gently said, “Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made
thee whole; go in peace.” He gave no opportunity for superstition to
claim healing virtue for the mere act of touching His garments. It
was not through the outward contact with Him, but through the faith
which took hold on His divine power, that the cure was wrought.

ခရစ်တော်၏ ဘေးပတ်ပတ်လည်တွင် ဝိုင်းရံတိုးဝှေ့နေသော အံ့သြနေသည့် လူအုပ်ကြီးသည် ဇီဝတန်ခိုး ရရှိခြင်း မရှိကြပေ။ သို့သော် ဝေဒနာခံစားနေရသော အမျိုးသမီးသည် မိမိကျန်းမာလိမ့်မည်ဟု ယုံကြည်လျက် လက်ကိုဆန့်၍ တို့ထိလိုက်သောအခါ ကုသခြင်းတန်ခိုးကို သူမ ခံစားလိုက်ရသည်။ ဝိညာဉ်ရေးရာများတွင်လည်း ထို့အတူပင်ဖြစ်သည်။ ဘာသာရေးအကြောင်းကို မတော်တဆကဲ့သို့ ပြောဆိုခြင်း၊ စိတ်နှလုံး ဆာလောင်မှုနှင့် ရှင်သန်သော ယုံကြည်ခြင်းမရှိဘဲ ဆုတောင်းခြင်းတို့သည် အကျိုးမရှိပေ။ ခရစ်တော်ကို လောက၏ ကယ်တင်ရှင်အဖြစ်မျှသာ လက်ခံသည့် အမည်ခံယုံကြည်ခြင်းသည် ဝိညာဉ်ကို မည်သည့်အခါမျှ ကုသပေးနိုင်မည်မဟုတ်ပေ။ ကယ်တင်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်စေသော ယုံကြည်ခြင်းသည် အမှန်တရားကို ဉာဏ်ဖြင့် လက်ခံရုံမျှသာ မဟုတ်ပေ။ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းကို မကျင့်သုံးမီ အလုံးစုံသော အသိပညာကို စောင့်ဆိုင်းနေသူသည် ဘုရားသခင်ထံမှ ကောင်းကြီးမင်္ဂလာကို မရရှိနိုင်ပေ။ ခရစ်တော်အကြောင်း ယုံကြည်ရုံနှင့် မလုံလောက်ဘဲ ကိုယ်တော်ကို ယုံကြည်ရမည်ဖြစ်သည်။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အတွက် အကျိုးပြုမည့် တစ်ခုတည်းသော ယုံကြည်ခြင်းမှာ ကိုယ်တော်ကို မိမိကိုယ်တိုင်၏ ကယ်တင်ရှင်အဖြစ် ဆုပ်ကိုင်ထားပြီး ကိုယ်တော်၏ ဂုဏ်ကျေးဇူးများကို မိမိတို့အတွက် ရယူခြင်းပင် ဖြစ်သည်။ လူအများစုသည် ယုံကြည်ခြင်းကို အယူအဆတစ်ခုအဖြစ်သာ မှတ်ယူကြသည်။ ကယ်တင်သော ယုံကြည်ခြင်းဟူသည် ခရစ်တော်ကို လက်ခံသူတို့က မိမိတို့ကိုယ်ကို ဘုရားသခင်နှင့် ပဋိညာဉ်ပြုသော ဆက်ဆံရေးတွင် ပေါင်းစည်းစေသည့် ဆောင်ရွက်မှုတစ်ခုဖြစ်သည်။ စစ်မှန်သော ယုံကြည်ခြင်းသည် အသက်ဖြစ်သည်။ ရှင်သန်သော ယုံကြည်ခြင်းဟူသည် ခွန်အားများ တိုးပွားလာခြင်းနှင့် စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်ကို အောင်နိုင်သော တန်ခိုးတစ်ခု ဖြစ်စေသည့် ယုံကြည်ကိုးစားမှုပင် ဖြစ်သည်။

The wondering crowd that pressed close about Christ realized no
accession of vital power. But when the suffering woman put forth
her hand to touch Him, believing that she would be made whole,
she felt the healing virtue. So in spiritual things. To talk of religion
in a casual way, to pray without soul hunger and living faith, avails
nothing. A nominal faith in Christ, which accepts Him merely as the
Saviour of the world, can never bring healing to the soul. The faith
that is unto salvation is not a mere intellectual assent to the truth. He
who waits for entire knowledge before he will exercise faith, cannot
receive blessing from God. It is not enough to believe about Christ;
we must believe in Him. The only faith that will beneft us is that
which embraces Him as a personal Saviour; which appropriates His
merits to ourselves. Many hold faith as an opinion. Saving faith
is a transaction by which those who receive Christ join themselves
in covenant relation with God. Genuine faith is life. A living faith
means an increase of vigor, a confding trust, by which the soul
becomes a conquering power.

အမျိုးသမီးကို ကျန်းမာစေပြီးနောက် ယေရှုသည် သူမရရှိခဲ့သော ကောင်းကြီးမင်္ဂလာကို ဝန်ခံစေလိုတော်မူ၏။ ဧဝံဂေလိတရားက ပေးကမ်းသော ဆုကျေးဇူးများသည် ခိုးယူရယူရန် သို့မဟုတ် လျှို့ဝှက်စွာ ခံစားရန် မဟုတ်ပေ။ ထို့ကြောင့် ကိုယ်တော်သည် ကိုယ်တော်၏ ကောင်းမြတ်ခြင်းကို ဝန်ခံရန် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကို ခေါ်ယူတော်မူ၏။ "သင်တို့သည် ငါ၏သက်သေများ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ငါသည် ဘုရားသခင်ဖြစ်ကြောင်းကို ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။" (ဟေရှာယ ၄၃:၁၂)။

After healing the woman, Jesus desired her to acknowledge the
blessing she had received. The gifts which the gospel offers are not
to be secured by stealth or enjoyed in secret. So the Lord calls upon
us for confession of His goodness. “Ye are My witnesses, saith the
Lord, that I am God.” Isaiah 43:12.

ကိုယ်တော်၏ သစ္စာရှိမှုကို ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ဝန်ခံခြင်းသည် ကမ္ဘာလောကသို့ ခရစ်တော်ကို ထင်ရှားစေရန် ကောင်းကင်ဘုံက ရွေးချယ်ထားသော နည်းလမ်းဖြစ်သည်။ ရှေးခေတ် သန့်ရှင်းသူများမှတစ်ဆင့် သိရှိရသော ကိုယ်တော်၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ အသိအမှတ်ပြုရမည်ဖြစ်သော်လည်း၊ အထိရောက်ဆုံးအရာမှာ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကိုယ်တိုင် ခံစားရသော အတွေ့အကြုံ၏ သက်သေခံချက်ပင် ဖြစ်သည်။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အတွင်း၌ နတ်ဘုရားတန်ခိုး၏ လုပ်ဆောင်မှုကို ထင်ရှားစေခြင်းဖြင့် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်အတွက် သက်သေများ ဖြစ်လာကြသည်။ လူတစ်ဦးစီတိုင်းတွင် အခြားသူများနှင့် မတူသော သီးခြားဘဝရှိပြီး သူတို့နှင့် အခြေခံအားဖြင့် ကွဲပြားသော အတွေ့အကြုံများ ရှိကြသည်။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ချီးမွမ်းခြင်းသည် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ကိုယ်ပိုင်ထူးခြားချက်များဖြင့် ဘုရားသခင်ထံသို့ တက်လှမ်းသွားရန် ကိုယ်တော် အလိုရှိတော်မူ၏။ ခရစ်တော်ကဲ့သို့သော အသက်တာဖြင့် ထောက်ကူထားသောအခါ ကိုယ်တော်၏ ကျေးဇူးတော် ဘုန်းအသရေကို ချီးမွမ်းသော ဤအဖိုးတန် ဝန်ခံချက်များသည် ဝိညာဉ်များကို ကယ်တင်ရန်အတွက် တားဆီး၍မရသော တန်ခိုးရှိကြသည်။

Our confession of His faithfulness is Heaven’s chosen agency
for revealing Christ to the world. We are to acknowledge His grace
as made known through the holy men of old; but that which will
be most effectual is the testimony of our own experience. We are
witnesses for God as we reveal in ourselves the working of a power
that is divine. Every individual has a life distinct from all others, and
an experience differing essentially from theirs. God desires that our
praise shall ascend to Him, marked by our own individuality. These
precious acknowledgments to the praise of the glory of His grace,
when supported by a Christ-like life, have an irresistible power that
works for the salvation of souls.

နူနာသည် (၁၀) ဦးတို့သည် ကုသမှုခံယူရန် ယေရှုထံသို့ လာသောအခါ ကိုယ်တော်က သူတို့အား ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ထံသို့ သွား၍ ပြသရန် မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ လမ်းခရီး၌ သူတို့သည် စင်ကြယ်သွားကြသော်လည်း သူတို့အနက် တစ်ဦးတည်းသာ ကိုယ်တော်ကို ဘုန်းကြီးစေရန် ပြန်လာခဲ့သည်။ အခြားသူများမှာမူ မိမိတို့ကို ကျန်းမာစေသော အရှင်ကို မေ့လျော့ကာ မိမိတို့လမ်းအတိုင်း သွားကြလေသည်။ ယနေ့တိုင်အောင် လူအများစုသည် ဤအတိုင်းပင် ပြုမူနေကြဆဲ ဖြစ်ပါသည်! ထာဝရဘုရားသည် လူသားတို့ အကျိုးအတွက် အမြဲတစေ လုပ်ဆောင်နေတော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ရက်ရောသော ဆုကျေးဇူးများကို အစဉ်အမြဲ ပေးကမ်းနေတော်မူ၏။ နာမကျန်းဖြစ်နေသူများကို အိပ်ရာပေါ်မှ ထူမပေးတော်မူ၏၊ လူတို့ မမြင်နိုင်သော ဘေးအန္တရာယ်များမှ ကယ်နှုတ်တော်မူ၏၊ "မှောင်မိုက်၌ လှည့်လည်သော ဘေးဥပဒ်" နှင့် "နေမွန်းတည့်၌ ဖျက်ဆီးတတ်သော အမှု" မှ စောင့်ရှောက်ရန် ကောင်းကင်တမန်များကို အမိန့်ပေးတော်မူ၏ (ဆာလံ ၉၁:၆)။ သို့သော် သူတို့၏ စိတ်နှလုံးများမှာမူ တုန်လှုပ်မှု မရှိကြပေ။ ကိုယ်တော်သည် သူတို့ကို ရွေးနှုတ်ရန် ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၏ ကြွယ်ဝမှုအားလုံးကို ပေးသနားတော်မူသော်လည်း သူတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်၏ ကြီးမြတ်သော မေတ္တာတော်ကို သတိမမူဘဲ နေကြသည်။ သူတို့၏ ကျေးဇူးကန်းမှုကြောင့် ဘုရားသခင်၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို လက်မခံဘဲ သူတို့၏ စိတ်နှလုံးများကို ပိတ်ထားကြသည်။ တောကန္တာရထဲမှ ချုံပင်ကဲ့သို့ပင် သူတို့သည် ကောင်းသော အရာရောက်လာသည်ကို မသိကြဘဲ သူတို့၏ ဝိညာဉ်များသည် ကန္တာရ၏ ခြောက်သွေ့သော နေရာများတွင် နေထိုင်ကြသည်။

When the ten lepers came to Jesus for healing, He bade them go [348]
and show themselves to the priest. On the way they were cleansed,
but only one of them returned to give Him glory. The others went
their way, forgetting Him who had made them whole. How many
are still doing the same thing! The Lord works continually to beneft
mankind. He is ever imparting His bounties. He raises up the
sick from beds of languishing, He delivers men from peril which
they do not see, He commissions heavenly angels to save them
from calamity, to guard them from “the pestilence that walketh in
darkness” and “the destruction that wasteth at noonday” (Psalm
91:6); but their hearts are unimpressed. He has given all the riches
of heaven to redeem them, and yet they are unmindful of His great
love. By their ingratitude they close their hearts against the grace of
God. Like the heath in the desert they know not when good cometh,
and their souls inhabit the parched places of the wilderness.

ဘုရားသခင်ပေးသနားသော ဆုကျေးဇူးတိုင်းကို ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ မှတ်ဉာဏ်ထဲ၌ အမြဲလတ်ဆတ်နေအောင် ထားခြင်းသည် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အတွက် အကျိုးရှိစေပါသည်။ ဤသို့ဖြင့် ပိုမိုများပြားသော ဆုကျေးဇူးများကို တောင်းဆိုရန်နှင့် လက်ခံရယူရန် ယုံကြည်ခြင်းသည် ခိုင်မာလာပါသည်။ အခြားသူများ၏ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းနှင့် အတွေ့အကြုံများအကြောင်းကို ဖတ်ရှုရခြင်းထက် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကိုယ်တိုင် ဘုရားသခင်ထံမှ ရရှိသော အသေးငယ်ဆုံးသော ကောင်းကြီးမင်္ဂလာသည် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အတွက် ပို၍ ခွန်အားဖြစ်စေပါသည်။ ဘုရားသခင်၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို တုံ့ပြန်သော ဝိညာဉ်သည် ရေလောင်းသော ဥယျာဉ်ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ သူ၏ ကျန်းမာခြင်းသည် လျင်မြန်စွာ ပေါ်ထွက်လာလိမ့်မည်၊ သူ၏ အလင်းသည် မှောင်မိုက်ထဲတွင် ထွန်းလင်းလိမ့်မည်ဖြစ်ပြီး ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဘုန်းအသရေသည် သူ၏အပေါ်၌ ထင်ရှားလိမ့်မည်။ သို့ဖြစ်လျှင် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ချစ်ခြင်းကရုဏာနှင့် များပြားလှသော ကရုဏာတော်များကို ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ သတိရကြပါစို့။ ဣသရေလလူမျိုးများကဲ့သို့ပင် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် သက်သေခံကျောက်တိုင်များကို စိုက်ထူ၍ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အတွက် လုပ်ဆောင်ပေးခဲ့သော အဖိုးတန်ပုံပြင်များကို ထိုကျောက်တိုင်ပေါ်၌ ရေးထွင်းကြပါစို့။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ဘဝခရီးတစ်လျှောက်တွင် ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အပေါ် ဆက်ဆံခဲ့ပုံများကို ပြန်လည်သုံးသပ်ကြည့်စဉ် ကျေးဇူးတင်ခြင်းဖြင့် ပျော်ဝင်နေသော စိတ်နှလုံးထဲမှ "ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါ၌ပြုတော်မူသော ကျေးဇူးအပေါင်းတို့အတွက် အဘယ်သို့သော တုံ့ပြန်ခြင်းကို ပြုရပါမည်နည်း။ ကယ်တင်ခြင်းခွက်ဖလားကို ကိုင်ယူ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နာမတော်ကို ပဌနာပြုပါမည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားအား ငါသစ္စာဂတိပြုသည်အတိုင်း၊ လူအပေါင်းတို့ ရှေ့တွင် ယခုပင် ဆပ်ပေးပါမည်" ဟု မြွက်ဆိုကြပါစို့။ (ဆာလံ ၁၁၆:၁၂-၁၄)။

It is for our own beneft to keep every gift of God fresh in our
memory. Thus faith is strengthened to claim and to receive more and
more. There is greater encouragement for us in the least blessing
we ourselves receive from God than in all the accounts we can read
of the faith and experience of others. The soul that responds to the
grace of God shall be like a watered garden. His health shall spring
forth speedily; his light shall rise in obscurity, and the glory of the

Lord shall be seen upon him. Let us then remember the lovingkindness of the Lord, and the multitude of His tender mercies. Like
the people of Israel, let us set up our stones of witness, and inscribe
upon them the precious story of what God has wrought for us. And
as we review His dealings with us in our pilgrimage, let us, out of
hearts melted with gratitude, declare, “What shall I render unto the
Lord for all His benefts toward me? I will take the cup of salvation,
and call upon the name of the Lord. I will pay my vows unto the
Lord now in the presence of all His people.” Psalm 116:12-14.
