အခန်း (၃၈) — မှောင်မိုက်ထဲမှ အလင်း [၄၆၄]

မှောင်မိုက်ကို ဖြတ်သန်း၍

ယုဒနိုင်ငံတော်၏ နိဂုံးကို မှတ်သားစေခဲ့သော ဖျက်ဆီးခြင်းနှင့် သေခြင်းတည်းဟူသော မှောင်မိုက်သော နှစ်ကာလများသည်၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ စေတမန်များမှတစ်ဆင့် ပရောဖက်ပြုဟောကြားချက်များ၌ ပါရှိသော အားပေးစကားများသာ မရှိခဲ့လျှင် အကြံ့ခိုင်ဆုံးသော နှလုံးသားကိုပင် စိတ်ပျက်အားလျော့စေခဲ့မည် ဖြစ်သည်။ ဂျေရုဆလင်မြို့ရှိ ယေရမိ၊ ဗာဗုလုန်နန်းတော်ရှိ ဒံယေလနှင့် ခေဗာမြစ်နားရှိ ယေဇကျေလတို့မှတစ်ဆင့် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကိုယ်တော်၏ ထာဝရရည်ရွယ်ချက်ကို ကရုဏာတော်ဖြင့် ရှင်းလင်းစွာ ဖော်ပြခဲ့ပြီး၊ မောရှေ၏ ကျမ်းစာစောင်များတွင် မှတ်တမ်းတင်ထားသော ကတိတော်များကို ကိုယ်တော် ရွေးကောက်ထားသော လူမျိုးတို့အတွက် ပြည့်စုံစေရန် အသင့်ရှိကြောင်း အာမခံချက် ပေးခဲ့သည်။ ကိုယ်တော်အပေါ် သစ္စာရှိကြောင်း သက်သေပြသူများအတွက် ကိုယ်တော်ပြုမည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူခဲ့သည့်အတိုင်း ဧကန်အမှန် ဖြစ်ပျက်လာစေမည်ဖြစ်သည်။ “ဘုရားသခင်၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည်... အစဉ်အမြဲ တည်၏။” ၁ ပေတရု ၁:၂၃။

Through Darkness
The dark years of destruction
and death marking the end
of the kingdom of Judah would have brought
despair to the stoutest
heart had it not been for
the encouragements in the
prophetic utterances of God’s
messengers. Through
Jeremiah in Jerusalem, through
Daniel in the court of
Babylon, through Ezekiel
on the banks of the Chebar,
the Lord in mercy made
clear His eternal purpose
and gave assurance of His
willingness to fulfll to
His chosen people the
promises recorded in the
writings of Moses. That
which He had said He
would do for those who
should prove true to Him,
He would surely bring to
pass. “The word of God ...
liveth and abideth forever.”
1 Peter 1:23.

တောကန္တာရအတွင်း လှည့်လည်သွားလာခဲ့ကြသော နေ့ရက်များတွင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကိုယ်တော်၏ သားသမီးများအတွက် ပညတ်တော်စကားများကို မှတ်မိစေရန် ကြွယ်ဝသော ပြင်ဆင်မှုများကို ပြုလုပ်ပေးခဲ့သည်။ ခါနန်ပြည်၌ အခြေချပြီးနောက်တွင်လည်း ထိုဘုရားသခင်၏ ပညတ်ချက်များကို အိမ်တိုင်း၌ နေ့စဉ် ထပ်ခါတလဲလဲ ပြောဆိုရမည် ဖြစ်သည်။ ထိုပညတ်များကို တံခါးတိုင်များနှင့် မြို့တံခါးများပေါ်တွင် ရှင်းလင်းစွာ ရေးသားထားရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး [၄၆၅] အထိမ်းအမှတ် ကျောက်ပြားများပေါ်တွင်လည်း ပျံ့နှံ့စေရမည်။ ၎င်းတို့ကို တေးဂီတအဖြစ် ဖန်တီးကာ လူငယ်လူရွယ်ရော လူကြီးများပါ သီဆိုကြရမည်ဖြစ်သည်။ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်များသည် လူထုအစည်းအဝေးများတွင် ဤသန့်ရှင်းသော ပညတ်ချက်များကို သွန်သင်ရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ပြည်၏ အုပ်ချုပ်သူများသည်လည်း ၎င်းတို့ကို နေ့စဉ် လေ့လာဆည်းပူးရမည်ဖြစ်သည်။ “ထိုကျမ်းစာ၌ ရေးထားသမျှသော စကားအတိုင်း ကျင့်အံ့သောငှာ နေ့ညမပြတ် ဆင်ခြင်ရမည်။ သို့ပြုလျှင် သင်သည် အကြံထမြောက်၍ လမ်း၌ အောင်မြင်လိမ့်မည်” ဟု ပညတ်တရားကျမ်းနှင့် ပတ်သက်၍ ယောရှုအား ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်မှာခဲ့သည်။ ယောရှု ၁:၈။

In the days of the wilderness
wandering the Lord had
made abundant provision

for His children to keep
in remembrance the words
of His law. After the settlement in Canaan the divine precepts were to be repeated daily in every home;
they were to be written
plainly upon the doorposts
[465] and gates, and spread upon
memorial tablets. They
were to be set to music and chanted by young
and old. Priests were to
teach these holy precepts
in public assemblies, and
the rulers of the land were
to make them their daily
study. “Meditate therein
day and night,” the Lord
commanded Joshua concerning the book of the law,
“that thou mayest observe
to do according to all that
is written therein: for then
thou shalt make thy way
prosperous, and then thou
shalt have good success.”
Joshua 1:8.

မောရှေ ရေးသားခဲ့သော ကျမ်းစာများကို ယောရှုသည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအပေါင်းတို့အား သွန်သင်ခဲ့သည်။ “မောရှေမှာထားသမျှသော စကားတို့တွင်၊ မိန်းမ၊ သူငယ်၊ သူတို့နှင့်အတူ နေသော တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့အပါအဝင်၊ ဣသရေလ ပရိသတ်အပေါင်းတို့ရှေ့မှာ ယောရှုမဖတ်သော စကားတခွန်းမျှမရှိ။” ယောရှု ၈:၃၅။ ဤသည်မှာ ခုနစ်နှစ်တစ်ကြိမ် သက္ကေတပွဲတော် (တဲတော်ပွဲ) ကျင်းပစဉ်အတွင်း ပညတ်တရားကျမ်းစကားများကို လူထုရှေ့၌ ရွတ်ဖတ်ရန် ယေဟောဝါဘုရား၏ တိကျသော မိန့်မှာချက်နှင့် ကိုက်ညီသည်။ “သင်တို့သည် ထိုစကားကို ကြား၍ သင်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ခြင်းငှာ လည်းကောင်း၊ ဤပညတ်တရားစကား အလုံးစုံတို့ကို စောင့်ရှောက်ခြင်းငှာ လည်းကောင်း သင်ယူစေခြင်းငှာ လည်းကောင်း၊ ယောက်ျား၊ မိန်းမ၊ သူငယ်၊ သင်တို့မြို့ရွာအတွင်း၌နေသော တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့ကို စုဝေးစေကြလော့။ ထိုစကားကို မသိသေးသော သူတို့၏ သားမြေများတို့သည်လည်း ကြား၍ သင်တို့သည် ယော်ဒန်မြစ်တဘက်သို့ ကူး၍ ပိုင်ထိုက်သောပြည်၌ နေသမျှကာလပတ်လုံး၊ သင်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ခြင်းငှာ သင်ယူစေကြလော့” ဟု ဣသရေလလူမျိုး၏ ဝိညာဉ်ရေးခေါင်းဆောင်များကို ညွှန်ကြားထားသည်။ တရားဟောရာ ၃၁:၁၂၊ ၁၃။

The writings of Moses were taught
by Joshua to all Israel.
“There was not a word of
all that Moses commanded,
which Joshua read not before all the congregation
of Israel, with the women,
and the little ones, and the
strangers that were conver

sant among them.” Joshua
8:35. This was in harmony
with the express command
of Jehovah providing for
a public rehearsal of the
words of the book of the
law every seven years, during the Feast of Tabernacles. “Gather the people together, men, and
women, and children, and
thy stranger that is within
thy gates,” the spiritual
leaders of Israel had been
instructed, “that they may
hear, and that they may
learn, and fear the Lord
your God, and observe
to do all the words of
this law: and that their
children, which have not
known anything, may hear,
and learn to fear the Lord
your God, as long as ye
live in the land whither ye
go over Jordan to possess
it.” Deuteronomy 31:12,
13.

Had this counsel been heeded
through the centuries that
followed, how different
would have been Israel’s
history! Only as a reverence for God’s Holy Word
was cherished in the hearts
of the people, could they
hope to fulfll the divine

[466] purpose. It was regard
for the law of God that
gave Israel strength during
the reign of David and the
earlier years of Solomon’s
rule; it was through faith
in the living word that reformation was wrought in
the days of Elijah and of
Josiah. And it was to
these same Scriptures of
truth, Israel’s richest heritage, that Jeremiah appealed in his efforts toward reform. Wherever he
ministered he met the people with the earnest plea,
“Hear ye the words of this
covenant,” words which
would bring them a full understanding of God’s purpose to extend to all nations a knowledge of saving truth. Jeremiah 11:2.

In the closing years of Judah’s
apostasy the exhortations
of the prophets were seemingly of but little avail;
and as the armies of the
Chaldeans came for the
third and last time to besiege Jerusalem, hope fled
from every heart. Jeremiah
predicted utter ruin; and
it was because of his insistence on surrender that
he had fnally been thrown

into prison. But God left
not to hopeless despair the
faithful remnant who were
still in the city. Even
while Jeremiah was kept
under close surveillance by
those who scorned his messages, there came to him
fresh revelations concerning Heaven’s willingness
to forgive and to save,
which have been an unfailing source of comfort
to the church of God from
that day to this.

ယေရမိသည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ ကတိတော်များကို ခိုင်မြဲစွာ ဆုပ်ကိုင်လျက်၊ မိမိလူမျိုးအတွက် ဘုရားသခင်၏ ရည်ရွယ်ချက် နောက်ဆုံးတွင် ပြည့်စုံလာမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သူ၏ ခိုင်မာသော ယုံကြည်ခြင်းကို သရုပ်ဖော်သည့် ပုံပမာတစ်ခုအားဖြင့် ပျက်စီးတော့မည့် မြို့သားတို့ရှေ့တွင် ပြသခဲ့သည်။ သက်သေများရှေ့တွင် လိုအပ်သော ဥပဒေကြောင်းအရ ပုံစံများအားလုံးကို ဂရုတစိုက် လိုက်နာလျက်၊ သူသည် အနီးနားရှိ အာနသုတ်ရွာတွင် ရှိသော ဘိုးဘွားပိုင်လယ်ကွက်ကို ငွေ ၁၇ ရှကယ်ဖြင့် ဝယ်ယူခဲ့သည်။

Laying fast hold on the promises
of God, Jeremiah, by
means of an acted parable, illustrated before the
inhabitants of the fated city
his strong faith in the ultimate fulfllment of God’s
purpose for His people.

In the presence of witnesses, and with careful
observance of all necessary
legal forms, he purchased
for seventeen shekels of silver an ancestral feld situ- [467]

ated in the neighboring village of Anathoth.
From every human point of view
this purchase of land in
territory already under the
control of the Babylonians,
appeared to be an act of

folly. The prophet himself
had been foretelling the destruction of Jerusalem, the
desolation of Judea, and
the utter ruin of the kingdom. He had been prophesying a long period of
captivity in faraway Babylon. Already advanced
in years, he could never
hope to receive personal
beneft from the purchase
he had made. However,
his study of the prophecies that were recorded in
the Scriptures had created
within his heart a frm conviction that the Lord purposed to restore to the children of the captivity their
ancient possession of the
Land of Promise. With
the eye of faith Jeremiah
saw the exiles returning
at the end of the years
of affliction and reoccupying the land of their fathers. Through the purchase of the Anathoth estate he would do what he
could to inspire others with
the hope that brought so
much comfort to his own
heart.

လွှဲပြောင်းစာချုပ်များကို လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးပြီး သက်သေများ၏ လက်မှတ်များကို ရယူပြီးနောက်၊ ယေရမိသည် သူ၏ အတွင်းရေးမှူး ဗာရုတ်အား ဤသို့ မှာကြားခဲ့သည်– “တံဆိပ်ခတ်သော ဝယ်စာစာချုပ်နှင့် မခတ်သော ဝယ်စာစာချုပ် နှစ်စောင်လုံးကို ယူ၍၊ ကြာမြင့်စွာ တည်စေခြင်းငှာ မြေအိုးထဲမှာ ထည့်ထားလော့။ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ဤပြည်၌ အိမ်၊ လယ်၊ စပျစ်ဥယျာဉ်များကို တစ်ဖန် ဝယ်ယူကြဦးမည်။” ယေရမိ ၃၂:၁၄၊ ၁၅။

Having signed the deeds of transfer and secured the countersignatures of witnesses,

Jeremiah charged Baruch
his secretary: “Take these
evidences, this evidence of
the purchase, both which
is sealed, and this evidence
which is open; and put
them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue
many days. For thus saith
the Lord of hosts, the God
of Israel; Houses and felds
and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.”
Jeremiah 32:14, 15.

So discouraging was the outlook
for Judah at the time of
this extraordinary transaction that immediately after perfecting the details
of the purchase and arranging for the preserva- [470]
tion of the written records,
the faith of Jeremiah, unshaken though it had been,
was now sorely tried. Had
he, in his endeavor to encourage Judah, acted presumptuously? In his desire to establish confdence
in the promises of God’s
word, had he given ground
for false hope? Those who
had entered into covenant
relationship with God had
long since scorned the provisions made in their behalf. Could the promises

to the chosen nation ever
meet with complete fulfllment?

စိတ်သောကရောက်ပြီး မိမိတို့၏ အပြစ်များကို နောင်တမရဘဲ ငြင်းပယ်ခဲ့သူများ၏ ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခများအတွက် ဝမ်းနည်းပူဆွေးလျက်၊ ပရောဖက်သည် လူသားမျိုးနွယ်အတွက် ဘုရားသခင်၏ ရည်ရွယ်ချက်နှင့် ပတ်သက်၍ နောက်ထပ် ဉာဏ်အလင်းပေးရန် ဘုရားသခင်ထံ အသနားခံခဲ့သည်။ “အို အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ကြီးစွာသော တန်ခိုးတော်နှင့် ဆန့်တော်မူသော လက်ရုံးတော်အားဖြင့် မိုးကောင်းကင်နှင့် မြေကြီးကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူပြီ။ ကိုယ်တော် ခဲယဉ်းတော်မူသောအမှု တစ်စုံတစ်ခုမျှ မရှိပါ။ ကိုယ်တော်သည် လူထောင်ပေါင်းများစွာတို့အား ကရုဏာကို ပြတော်မူ၏။ အဘတို့ ပြုသော ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်ကိုလည်း သူတို့နောက်၌ ဖြစ်သော သားတို့ရင်ခွင်ထဲသို့ ပြန်ပေးတော်မူ၏။ ကြီးမြတ်၍ တန်ခိုးနှင့် ပြည့်စုံတော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရားဟူသော နာမတော်ရှိ၏။ အကြံပေးခြင်းအမှု၌ ကြီးမြတ်၍၊ အမှုပြုခြင်း၌လည်း တန်ခိုးနှင့် ပြည့်စုံတော်မူ၏။ လူသားတို့၏ အကျင့်နှင့် အကျင့်၏အကျိုးအတိုင်း အသီးသီးတို့အား ပေးခြင်းငှာ၊ သူတို့သွားသော လမ်းခရီးအလုံးစုံတို့ကို ကြည့်ရှုတော်မူ၏။ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှစ၍ ယနေ့တိုင်အောင် ဣသရေလအမျိုး၌လည်းကောင်း၊ အခြားသော လူမျိုးတို့၌လည်းကောင်း နိမိတ်လက္ခဏာနှင့် အံ့ဖွယ်သော အမှုတို့ကို ပြုတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ယနေ့ ဖြစ်သကဲ့သို့ နာမတော် ကျော်စောစေတော်မူပြီ။ ကိုယ်တော်၏ လူမျိုးတော် ဣသရေလတို့ကို နိမိတ်လက္ခဏာ၊ အံ့ဖွယ်သောအမှု၊ အားကြီးသော လက်နှင့် ဆန့်သော လက်ရုံး၊ ကြီးစွာသော ကြောက်လန့်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင်တော်မူပြီ။ နို့နှင့်ပျားရည်စီးသော ဤပြည်ကို သူတို့၏ ဘိုးဘွားများအား ပေးမည်ဟု ကျိန်ဆိုတော်မူသည့်အတိုင်း သူတို့အား ပေးသနားတော်မူပြီ။ သူတို့သည် ဝင်၍ ဤပြည်ကို သိမ်းယူကြသော်လည်း၊ ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ကို နားမထောင်၊ ပညတ်တော်အတိုင်း မကျင့်၊ ပြုရမည်ဟု စီရင်တော်မူသမျှတို့ကို မပြုဘဲ နေကြသောကြောင့်၊ ဤဘေးအလုံးစုံကို သူတို့အပေါ်သို့ ရောက်စေတော်မူပြီ။” အပိုဒ် ၁၇-၂၃။

Perplexed in spirit, bowed down
with sorrow over the sufferings of those who had
refused to repent of their
sins, the prophet appealed
to God for further enlightenment concerning the divine purpose for mankind.
“Ah Lord God!” he prayed, “behold, Thou hast made
the heaven and the earth
by Thy great power and
stretched-out arm, and there
is nothing too hard for
Thee: Thou showest loving-kindness unto thousands, and recompensest
the iniquity of the fathers
into the bosom of their
children after them: the
great, the mighty God,
the Lord of hosts, is His
name, great in counsel, and
mighty in work: for Thine
eyes are open upon all
the ways of the sons of
men: to give everyone according to his ways, and
according to the fruit of
his doings: which hast set
signs and wonders in the
land of Egypt, even unto
this day, and in Israel, and

among other men; and hast
made Thee a name, as at
this day; and hast brought
forth Thy people Israel out
of the land of Egypt with
signs, and with wonders,
and with a strong hand, and
with a stretched-out arm,
and with great terror; and
hast given them this land,
which Thou didst swear to
their fathers to give them,
a land flowing with milk
and honey; and they came [471]
in, and possessed it; but
they obeyed not Thy voice,
neither walked in Thy law;
they have done nothing of
all that Thou commandedst
them to do: therefore Thou
hast caused all this evil to
come upon them.” Verses

Nebuchadnezzar’s armies were
about to take the walls of
Zion by storm. Thousands were perishing in
a last desperate defense
of the city. Many thousands more were dying of
hunger and disease. The
fate of Jerusalem was already sealed. The besieging towers of the enemy’s
forces were already overlooking the walls. “Behold
the mounts,” the prophet

continued in his prayer to
God; “they are come unto
the city to take it; and the
city is given into the hand
of the Chaldeans, that fght
against it, because of the
sword, and of the famine,
and of the pestilence: and
what Thou hast spoken is
come to pass; and, behold,
Thou seest it. And Thou
hast said unto me, O Lord
God, Buy thee the feld for
money, and take witnesses;
for the city is given into
the hand of the Chaldeans.”
Verses 24, 25.

The prayer of the prophet was graciously answered. “The
word of the Lord unto
Jeremiah” in that hour of
distress, when the faith of
the messenger of truth was
being tried as by fre, was:
“Behold, I am the Lord, the
God of all flesh: is there
anything too hard for Me?”
Verses 26, 27. The city was
soon to fall into the hand
of the Chaldeans; its gates
and palaces were to be set
on fre and burned; but,
notwithstanding the fact
that destruction was imminent and the inhabitants of
Jerusalem were to be carried away captive, never

theless the eternal purpose
of Jehovah for Israel was
yet to be fulflled. In further answer to the prayer
of His servant, the Lord [472]
declared concerning those
upon whom His chastisements were falling:

“ငါသည် အမျက်ထွက်၍ ပြင်းစွာသော ဒေါသနှင့် သူတို့ကို နှင်ထုတ်ရာ တိုင်းပြည်အရပ်ရပ်တို့က သူတို့ကို ငါပြန်၍ စုသိမ်းမည်။ ဤအရပ်သို့ တစ်ဖန် ဆောင်ခဲ့၍ ဘေးမရှိဘဲ နေစေမည်။ သူတို့သည် ငါ၏လူ ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါသည်လည်း သူတို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် ဖြစ်မည်။ သူတို့နှင့် သူတို့သားမြေတို့သည် အကျိုးကျေးဇူးကို ခံစားရမည်အကြောင်း၊ ငါ့ကို အစဉ်အမြဲ ကြောက်ရွံ့စေခြင်းငှာ သူတို့အား တညီတညွတ်တည်းသော စိတ်နှင့် တညီတညွတ်တည်းသော လမ်းကို ငါပေးမည်။ သူတို့အား ကျေးဇူးပြုခြင်းအမှုကို မစွန့်၊ သူတို့နှင့် ထာဝရပဋိညာဉ်ကို ငါပြုမည်။ သူတို့သည် ငါ့ထံမှ မထွက်မသွားစေခြင်းငှာ၊ ငါ့ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့သောစိတ်ကို သူတို့နှလုံးထဲမှာ ငါသွင်းထားမည်။ အကယ်စင်စစ် သူတို့အား ကျေးဇူးပြုခြင်း၌ ငါဝမ်းမြောက်မည်။ စိတ်နှလုံး အကြွင်းမဲ့ ဤပြည်၌ သူတို့ကို စိုက်ပျိုးမည်။

“Behold, I will gather them out
of all countries, whither I
have driven them in Mine
anger, and in My fury, and
in great wrath; and I will
bring them again unto this
place, and I will cause
them to dwell safely: and
they shall be My people,
and I will be their God: and
I will give them one heart,
and one way, that they may
fear Me forever, for the
good of them, and of their
children after them: and
I will make an everlasting
covenant with them, that
I will not turn away from
them, to do them good; but
I will put My fear in their
hearts, that they shall not
depart from Me. Yea, I
will rejoice over them to do
them good, and I will plant
them in this land assuredly
with My whole heart and
with My whole soul.

“ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ဤလူမျိုးအပေါ်သို့ ဤသို့သော ဘေးကြီးကို ငါရောက်စေသည်နည်းတူ၊ သူတို့အား ငါဂတိထားသမျှသော ကောင်းကျိုးတို့ကို ငါရောက်စေမည်။ ‘ဤပြည်သည် လူသူဆိတ်သုဉ်း၍ သားရဲကင်းလျက်၊ ခါလဒဲလူတို့လက်သို့ ရောက်လေပြီ’ ဟု သင်တို့ဆိုသော ဤပြည်၌ လယ်များကို ဝယ်ယူကြဦးမည်။ ငါသည် သူတို့၏ သုံ့ပန်းများကို ပြန်လာစေသောကြောင့်၊ ဗင်္ယာမိန်ပြည်၊ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်အရပ်၊ ယုဒမြို့ရွာ၊ တောင်ပေါ်မှာ ရှိသော မြို့၊ ချိုင့်ဝှမ်းမှာ ရှိသော မြို့၊ တောင်မျက်နှာမှာ ရှိသော မြို့တို့၌ လယ်များကို ငွေနှင့် ဝယ်၍၊ စာချုပ်ကို ရေးလျက်၊ တံဆိပ်ခတ်လျက်၊ သက်သေများကို ခေါ်ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။” အပိုဒ် ၃၇-၄၄။

“For thus saith the Lord; Like
as I have brought all this
great evil upon this people,
so will I bring upon them
all the good that I have
promised them. And felds
shall be bought in this land,
whereof ye say, It is desolate without man or beast;
it is given into the hand of
the Chaldeans. Men shall
buy felds for money, and
subscribe evidences, and
seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places
about Jerusalem, and in
the cities of Judah, and in
the cities of the mountains,
and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the
south: for I will cause their
captivity to return, saith the
Lord.” Verses 37-44.

In confrmation of these assurances of deliverance
and restoration, “the word
of the Lord came unto
Jeremiah the second time,
while he was yet shut up
in the court of the prison,
saying,

“မြေကြီးကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူသော အရှင်၊ တည်မြဲစေခြင်းငှာ ပြုပြင်တော်မူသော အရှင်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားဟူသော နာမတော်ရှိသော အရှင် မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ငါ့ကို ခေါ်လော့၊ ငါထူးမည်။ သင်မသိသော ကြီးမြတ်၍ ခဲယဉ်းသောအမှုတို့ကို ငါပြမည်။ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ခါလဒဲလူတို့ တည်သော မြေရိုးနှင့် ထားဘေးကြောင့် ဖြိုဖျက်သော ဤမြို့ရှိ အိမ်များ၊ ယုဒရှင်ဘုရင်တို့၏ နန်းတော်များနှင့် ပတ်သက်၍ မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ... ကြည့်ရှုလော့၊ ဤမြို့၌ ဒဏ်ချက်များကို ပျောက်စေ၍ ကျန်းမာခြင်းကို ငါပေးမည်။ ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်းနှင့် သစ္စာစောင့်ခြင်း ကြွယ်ဝသည်ကို ပြမည်။ ယုဒသုံ့ပန်းများနှင့် ဣသရေလသုံ့ပန်းများကို ပြန်လာစေ၍၊ အရင်ကဲ့သို့ သူတို့ကို တည်ဆောက်မည်။ ငါ့ကို ပြစ်မှားသော အပြစ်ရှိသမျှနှင့် ကင်းစင်စေခြင်းငှာ ငါဆေးကြောမည်။ ငါ့ကို ပြစ်မှား၍ လွန်ကျူးသော အပြစ်ရှိသမျှကို လွှတ်မည်။ ... ငါသည် ဤမြို့အား ပေးသော ကျေးဇူးအလုံးစုံကို ကြားရသော လောကီနိုင်ငံ အရပ်ရပ်တို့ရှေ့မှာ၊ ဤမြို့သည် ငါ၌ ဝမ်းမြောက်စရာ၊ ချီးမွမ်းစရာ၊ ဂုဏ်ပြုစရာ နာမတော် ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ ငါပေးသော ကောင်းကျိုးနှင့် ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်း အလုံးစုံတို့ကြောင့် သူတို့သည် ကြောက်လန့်တုန်လှုပ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

thereof, the Lord that
formed it, to establish it;
the Lord is His name; Call

great and mighty things,
which thou knowest not.
For thus saith the Lord, the
God of Israel, concerning
the houses of this city, and
concerning the houses of
the kings of Judah, which
are thrown down by the
mounts, and by the sword;
... Behold, I will bring
it health and cure, and I
will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and
will build them, as at the
frst. And I will cleanse
them from all their iniquity,
whereby they have sinned
against Me; and I will pardon all their iniquities....
And it shall be to Me a
name of joy, a praise and
an honor before all the nations of the earth, which
shall hear all the good that
I do unto them: and they
shall fear and tremble for
all the goodness and for all
the prosperity that I procure unto it.

“ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ‘လူသူဆိတ်သုဉ်း၍ သားရဲကင်းသော အရပ်’ ဟု သင်တို့ဆိုသော ဤအရပ်၌လည်းကောင်း၊ လူသူဆိတ်သုဉ်း၍ သားရဲကင်းသော ယုဒမြို့ရွာ၊ ယေရုရှလင်လမ်းတို့၌လည်းကောင်း၊ ... ဝမ်းမြောက်သော အသံ၊ ရွှင်လန်းသော အသံ၊ မင်္ဂလာဆောင်လုလင်၏ အသံ၊ မင်္ဂလာဆောင်သတို့သမီး၏ အသံ၊ ‘ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရားကို ချီးမွမ်းကြလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကောင်းမြတ်တော်မူ၏။ ကရုဏာတော်သည် အစဉ်အမြဲ တည်တော်မူ၏’ ဟု ဆိုသော သူတို့၏ အသံ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဗိမာန်တော်သို့ ချီးမွမ်းခြင်းယဇ်ကို ဆောင်ခဲ့သော သူတို့၏ အသံကို တစ်ဖန် ကြားရလိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါသည် ဤပြည်၏ သုံ့ပန်းများကို အရင်ကဲ့သို့ ပြန်လာစေမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

“Thus saith the Lord; Again
there shall be heard in this

be desolate without man
and without beast, even in
the cities of Judah, and
in the streets of Jerusalem,
... the voice of joy, and
the voice of gladness, the
voice of the bridegroom,
and the voice of the bride,
the voice of them that shall
say, Praise the Lord of
hosts: for the Lord is good;
for His mercy endureth forever: and of them that shall
bring the sacrifce of praise
into the house of the Lord.
For I will cause to return
the captivity of the land, as
at the frst, saith the Lord.

“ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ လူသူဆိတ်သုဉ်း၍ သားရဲကင်းသော ဤအရပ်နှင့်တကွ ခပ်သိမ်းသော မြို့တို့၌ သိုးထိန်းတို့သည် သိုးစုကို ဝပ်စေရာ နေရာများ ရှိကြဦးမည်။ တောင်ပေါ်မှာ ရှိသော မြို့၊ ချိုင့်ဝှမ်းမှာ ရှိသော မြို့၊ တောင်မျက်နှာမှာ ရှိသော မြို့၊ ဗင်္ယာမိန်ပြည်၊ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်အရပ်၊ ယုဒမြို့တို့၌ သိုးစုတို့သည် ရေတွက်သော သူ၏လက်အောက်သို့ တစ်ဖန် သွားကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

“Thus saith the Lord of hosts;
Again in this place, which
is desolate without man
and without beast, and in
[474] all the cities thereof, shall
be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks
to lie down. In the cities
of the mountains, and in
the cities of the vale, and
in the cities of the south,
and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places
about Jerusalem, and in the
cities of Judah, shall the
flocks pass again under the
hands of him that telleth
them, saith the Lord.

“ကြည့်ရှုလော့၊ ငါသည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးနှင့် ယုဒအမျိုးအား ဂတိထားသော ကောင်းကျိုးကို ပြည့်စုံစေမည့် နေ့ရက်ကာလ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။” ယေရမိ ၃၃:၁-၁၄။

“Behold, the days come, saith
the Lord, that I will perform that good thing which
I have promised unto the
house of Israel and to the
house of Judah.” Jeremiah
33:1-14.

ဤကဲ့သို့ဖြင့် ဘုရားသခင်၏ အသင်းတော်သည် ဆိုးယုတ်သော အင်အားစုများနှင့် ရှည်လျားစွာ တိုက်ပွဲဝင်နေရသည့် အမှောင်ဆုံးသော အချိန်များထဲမှ တစ်ခုတွင် နှစ်သိမ့်မှုကို ရရှိခဲ့သည်။ စာတန်သည် ဣသရေလတို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီးရန် ကြိုးပမ်းမှုတွင် အောင်မြင်သယောင် ထင်ရသော်လည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် လက်ရှိဖြစ်ရပ်များကို အုပ်စိုးလျက် ရှိပြီး၊ နောင်လာမည့် နှစ်များတွင် ကိုယ်တော်၏ လူမျိုးများသည် အတိတ်ကို ပြန်လည် ကုစားနိုင်မည့် အခွင့်အရေး ရရှိကြမည် ဖြစ်သည်။ အသင်းတော်သို့ ပေးသော ကိုယ်တော်၏ သတင်းစကားမှာ–

Thus was the church of God comforted in one of the darkest hours of her long conflict with the forces of evil.
Satan had seemingly triumphed in his efforts to destroy Israel; but the Lord
was overruling the events
of the present, and during the years that were to
follow, His people were
to have opportunity to redeem the past. His message to the church was:

“အို ငါ၏အစေခံ ယာကုပ်၊ မကြောက်နှင့်။ ... အို ဣသရေလ၊ စိတ်မပျက်နှင့်။ ငါသည် သင့်ကို ဝေးသောအရပ်မှလည်းကောင်း၊ သင့်အမျိုးအနွယ်ကို သုံ့ပန်းဖြစ်ရာ ပြည်မှလည်းကောင်း ကယ်တင်မည်။ ယာကုပ်သည် ပြန်လာ၍ ငြိမ်ဝပ်စွာ အနားယူလိမ့်မည်။ အဘယ်သူမျှ မခြောက်လှန့်ရ။ သင့်ကို ကယ်တင်ခြင်းငှာ ငါသည် သင်နှင့်အတူ ရှိသည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။” “ငါသည် သင့်အား ကျန်းမာခြင်းကို ပြန်ပေးမည်။ သင်၏ ဒဏ်ချက်များကိုလည်း ပျောက်စေမည်။” ယေရမိ ၃၀:၁၀၊ ၁၁၊ ၁၇။

“Fear thou not, O My servant Jacob; ... neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo,
I will save thee from afar,
and thy seed from the land
of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall
be in rest, and be quiet,
and none shall make him
afraid. For I am with
thee, saith the Lord, to
save thee.” “I will restore
health unto thee, and I will
heal thee of thy wounds.”

ဝမ်းမြောက်ဖွယ်ရာ ပြန်လည်ထူထောင်ခြင်းနေ့တွင် ကွဲပြားနေသော ဣသရေလမျိုးနွယ်စုများသည် လူမျိုးတစ်မျိုးတည်းအဖြစ် ပြန်လည် ပေါင်းစည်းကြမည်ဖြစ်သည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် “ဣသရေလအမျိုးအနွယ် အပေါင်းတို့” ၏ အုပ်စိုးရှင်အဖြစ် အသိအမှတ်ပြုခြင်း ခံရမည်။ “သူတို့သည် ငါ၏လူ ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်” ဟု ကိုယ်တော် မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ “ယာကုပ်အတွက် ဝမ်းမြောက်စွာ သီချင်းဆိုကြလော့။ လူမျိုးတကာတို့ထက် မြတ်သော လူမျိုးအတွက် ကြွေးကြော်ကြလော့။ ‘အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏လူမျိုး၊ ဣသရေလအကြွင်းအကျန်တို့ကို ကယ်တင်တော်မူပါ’ ဟု ကျော်စောစေ၍ ချီးမွမ်းလျက် လျှောက်ကြလော့။ ကြည့်ရှုလော့၊ ငါသည် သူတို့ကို မြောက်ပြည်မှ ဆောင်ခဲ့မည်။ မြေကြီးစွန်းတို့မှ စုသိမ်းမည်။ သူတို့နှင့်အတူ မျက်စိကန်းသောသူ၊ ခြေမစွမ်းသောသူတို့ ပါကြလိမ့်မည်။ ... သူတို့သည် ငိုကြွေးလျက် လာကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့ အသနားခံသည်အတိုင်း ငါလမ်းပြမည်။ ခလုတ်မထိဘဲ ဖြောင့်သောလမ်း၊ စမ်းရေစီးရာ လမ်းဖြင့် ငါခေါ်သွားမည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါသည် ဣသရေလတို့၏ အဘ ဖြစ်၏။ ဧဖရိမ်သည် ငါ၏ သားဦး ဖြစ်၏။” ယေရမိ ၃၁:၁၊ ၇-၉။

In the glad day of restoration
the tribes of divided Israel
were to be reunited as one
people. The Lord was to be
acknowledged as ruler over
“all the families of Israel.”
“They shall be My people.” He declared. “Sing
with gladness for Jacob,
and shout among the chief
of the nations: publish ye,
praise ye, and say, O Lord,
[475] save Thy people, the remnant of Israel. Behold, I
will bring them from the
north country, and gather
them from the coasts of
the earth, and with them
the blind and the lame;
... they shall come with
weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I
will cause them to walk by
the rivers of waters in a
straight way, wherein they
shall not stumble: for I
am a Father to Israel, and
Ephraim is My frst-born.”
Jeremiah 31:1, 7-9.

Humbled in the sight of the nations, those who once had
been recognized as favored
of Heaven above all other
peoples of the earth were
to learn in exile the lesson
of obedience so necessary
for their future happiness.

Until they had learned this
lesson, God could not do
for them all that He desired
to do. “I will correct thee
in measure, and will not
leave thee altogether unpunished,” He declared in
explanation of His purpose
to chastise them for their
spiritual good. Jeremiah
30:11. Yet those who had
been the object of His tender love were not forever
set aside; before all the nations of earth He would
demonstrate His plan to
bring victory out of apparent defeat, to save rather
than to destroy. To the
prophet was given the message:

“ဣသရေလကို ကွဲပြားစေသော အရှင်သည် သူတို့ကို တစ်ဖန် စုသိမ်း၍၊ သိုးထိန်းသည် မိမိသိုးစုကို စောင့်သကဲ့သို့ စောင့်ရှောက်တော်မူမည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ယာကုပ်ကို ရွေးနှုတ်တော်မူပြီ။ မိမိထက် အားကြီးသော သူ၏လက်မှ ကယ်လွှတ်တော်မူပြီ။ ထို့ကြောင့် သူတို့သည် လာ၍ ဇိအုန်တောင်ပေါ်မှာ သီချင်းဆိုကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထာဝရဘုရား ပေးတော်မူသော ကောင်းကျိုးတည်းဟူသော ဆန်စပါး၊ စပျစ်ရည်၊ ဆီ၊ သိုးငယ်၊ နွားငယ်တို့ဆီသို့ စုဝေးကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့၏ စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်သည် ရေလောင်းသော ဥယျာဉ်ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ နောက်တစ်ဖန် စိတ်ညှိုးငယ်ခြင်း မရှိရ။ ... ငါသည် သူတို့၏ မြည်တမ်းခြင်းကို ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်း ဖြစ်စေမည်။ သူတို့ကို သက်သာစေ၍ ဝမ်းနည်းခြင်းနှင့် ကင်းလွတ်စေလျက် ရွှင်လန်းစေမည်။ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တို့၏ စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်ကို ဆူဖြိုးသော အရာနှင့် ဝပြောစေမည်။ ငါ၏ လူမျိုးတို့သည် ငါ၏ ကောင်းကျိုးနှင့် ဝပြောကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

“He that scattered Israel will
gather him, and keep him,
as a shepherd doth his
flock. For the Lord hath
redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand
of him that was stronger
than he. Therefore they
shall come and sing in the
height of Zion, and shall
flow together to the goodness of the Lord, for wheat,
and for wine, and for oil,
and for the young of the
flock and of the herd: and
their soul shall be as a

watered garden; and they
[476] shall not sorrow any more
at all.... I will turn their
mourning into joy, and will
comfort them, and make
them rejoice from their sorrow. And I will satiate the
soul of the priests with fatness, and My people shall
be satisfed with My goodness, saith the Lord.”

“ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ငါသည် သူတို့၏ သုံ့ပန်းများကို တစ်ဖန် ပြန်လာစေသောအခါ၊ ယုဒပြည်နှင့် မြို့ရွာတို့၌ ‘အို ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်း နေရာ၊ သန့်ရှင်းသောတောင်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင့်အား ကောင်းချီးပေးတော်မူပါစေသော’ ဟူသော စကားကို တစ်ဖန် ပြောကြဦးမည်။ ယုဒပြည်နှင့်တကွ မြို့ရွာများ၌ လယ်လုပ်သော သူတို့နှင့် သိုးစုကို ထိန်းသော သူတို့သည် အတူတကွ နေကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါသည် မောပန်းသော သူကို အားဖြည့်စေမည်။ ဝမ်းနည်းသော သူအပေါင်းတို့ကိုလည်း ရောင့်ရဲစေမည်။

“Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the
God of Israel; As yet they
shall use this speech in the
land of Judah and in the
cities thereof, when I shall
bring again their captivity; The Lord bless thee,
O habitation of justice, and
mountain of holiness. And
there shall dwell in Judah
itself, and in all the cities
thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth
with flocks. For I have satiated the weary soul, and I
have replenished every sorrowful soul.”

“ကြည့်ရှုလော့၊ ငါသည် ဣသရေလအမျိုး၊ ယုဒအမျိုးတို့နှင့် ပဋိညာဉ်သစ်ကို ပြုမည့် နေ့ရက်ကာလ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုပဋိညာဉ်သည် သူတို့၏ ဘိုးဘွားများကို အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင်ခြင်းငှာ လက်ဆွဲသောနေ့၌ သူတို့နှင့် ပြုသော ပဋိညာဉ်ကဲ့သို့ မဟုတ်။ ငါသည် သူတို့၏ လင်ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်သော်လည်း၊ သူတို့သည် ငါ၏ ပဋိညာဉ်ကို ဖျက်ကြပြီဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုနေ့ရက်ကာလ နောက်၌ ဣသရေလအမျိုးနှင့် ငါပြုမည့် ပဋိညာဉ်ဟူမူကား၊ ငါသည် ငါ၏ပညတ်တရားကို သူတို့၏ အတွင်း၌ သွင်းမည်။ သူတို့၏ နှလုံးပေါ်မှာ ရေးထားမည်။ ငါသည် သူတို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် ဖြစ်မည်။ သူတို့သည်လည်း ငါ၏လူ ဖြစ်ကြမည်။ ‘ထာဝရဘုရားကို သိလော့’ ဟု မိမိအိမ်နီးချင်းနှင့် မိမိညီအစ်ကိုအား တစ်ဖန် ဆုံးမရန် မလိုရ။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ အငယ်ဆုံးသောသူမှစ၍ အကြီးဆုံးသောသူတိုင်အောင် ခပ်သိမ်းသောသူတို့သည် ငါ့ကို သိကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါသည် သူတို့၏ ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်ကို လွှတ်မည်။ သူတို့ပြုသော အပြစ်ကို နောက်တစ်ဖန် မအောက်မေ့ဘဲ နေမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။” ယေရမိ ၃၁:၁၀-၁၄၊ ၂၃-၂၅၊ ၃၁-၃၄။

“Behold, the days come, saith
the Lord, that I will make
a new covenant with the
house of Israel, and with
the house of Judah: not
according to the covenant
that I made with their fathers in the day that I took

them out of the land of
Egypt; which My covenant
they brake, although I was
an husband unto them,
saith the Lord: but this
shall be the covenant that
I will make with the house
of Israel; After those days,
saith the Lord, I will put
My law in their inward
parts, and write it in their
hearts; and will be their
God, and they shall be My
people. And they shall
teach no more every man
his neighbor, and every
man his brother, saying,
Know the Lord: for they
shall all know Me, from
the least of them unto the
greatest of them, saith the
Lord: for I will forgive
their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”
